I asked an ecolutionst once if when he prays he does it like this:
Our Father who art in the jungle, King Kong be thy name!
And on mothers day if he gave mom bananas instead of flowers!
they didn't think it too funny, but I did crack myself up!

An christain walks up to an evolutionist at the zoo . He then says and what are you doing .
And he said i am looking at our ancestory and marvelling at how far we have come ,
to which the christain says We did not evolve from monkey but rather GOD made us in His own image
To which the evolutionists then says , You small minded folks got it all wrong .
To which the christain says , well say hi to your relatives cause they sure aint mine .

Not if their foundation is JESUS .
Sister i get called more names than i can list for simply speaking truth and correcting .
YET MY JOY IN JESUS ABOUNDS no matter what comes against me .
The sad thing is though many people do suffer this type of controlling domestic abuse which is completely paralysing and undermines their confidence. But like you say a Christian can have the help of Jesus to rise above it.
