You can't surely believe that the Apostle Paul was carnal sold under sin or captive to the law of sin which dwelt in his members. That when he wanted to do good he did evil.

He begins Romans 7 saying ".... I am speaking to those who know the law

verse 5.
while we were living in the flesh [Saul of Tarsus] our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death.

The whole chapter describes how the law affect us when we are in our sinful flesh.

The Great Tribulation is none other than "the time of Jacob's trouble" tribulation is taken from the word trouble.
There is only one place in the bible where we find the term "Jacob's trouble" although the time of trouble is mentioned several times.

Zechariah in ch.13. is speaking about the fall of Israel
vs.7
"Awake o sword against My people
against the man who stands next to Me" says the Lord of hosts

"strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered, I will turn My hand against the little ones"
" In the whole land " says the Lord "two thirds shall be cut off and perish ....2

Now we read in the gospel how that when Jesus was arrested the disciples fled "this was to fulfil the prophet "I will strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered" So this prophecy of Zechariah has been fulfilled and shows the fall of Israel

But Zechariah.14 speaks of a different day.

Behold a day of the Lord is coming when the spoil taken from you will be divided in the midst of you. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women ravished, half of the city will go into exile but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations as when He fights on the day of battle ....

This is clearly speaking of a different time, a time when God will fight for Israel. Ch.13 speaks about the fall of Israel in the 1st century and ch.14 speaks about the rise of Israel at the time of the end.

It corresponds to Daniel.12

At that time shall arise Michael the great prince who has charge of your people and there shall be a time of trouble such as has never been since there was a nation till that time [the great tribulation]

But at that time your people will be delivered everyone whose name shall be found in the book.

Paul did not understand the second coming of our Lord in the same way the other Jewish apostles did ... he had further revelation which they did not have.

No ! he says so in the Bible.
You must have faith in the Holy Spirit, if one does not one is lost, religion never saved anyone, I have seen such does in fact, it's only Jesus Christ Saves ones Soul and that can happen now as it was 2000 years ago.
Many people were Saved over the 2000 years but what I get from new age mob is that they are saying none were and it's only after the rapture comes that people will be saved. well all will be Saved at the second coming, just as people were Saved over 2000 years, one must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of God. not to mention if one is not in the Kingdom of God you will not get into Heaven.
So stop your worldly religious works, because they are works of Man, not God. remember no one comes to the Father but through his only begotten Son, that counts all other religions out directly, one must follow in Jesus Christ only, end of story. anyone who claims differently is of Satan.
