Do you profess the

Nicene Creed!

We believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,
begotten from the Father before all ages,
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made; one in being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, and was made man. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried. The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will never end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life. He proceeds from the Father and the Son, and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified. He spoke through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. We affirm one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and to life in the world to come. Amen.

No. That's a Roman thing. You can keep that.

The church must be Roman cos it conquered the Roman Empire!

Prophecy of the new covenant church fulfilled in the apostolic union with Christ!

Matt 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, (Israel) and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. (The new covenant church) Jn 15:1-5

Dan 2: 44 And in the days of these kings (Roman Caesars) shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Isaiah 2:2
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Micah 4:1
But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

Lk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Lk 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

I know the context is about hypocrites and scammers, but it's also about having a personal relationship with Jesus!
Yes, and it's most importantly about Christians.

So many Christians don't get that.

Extremely
important.

The people in that passage are 100% believers in Christ.

No doubt about that.

It was written to the Jewish Christians and unbelieving Jews who had a conflict.
Matthew (like all the Gospels) was written to all people in all ages, and particularly to Christians, whether Jews or Gentiles. While the emphasis is on Christ as King, the Gospel is not limited as you suggest.

The Church (if anything) must be a pattern of the first church established under the New Covenant. That was the church at Jerusalem.

Believers are only catechumens and not Christians
Faith alone 1 cor 13:2 avails nothing
Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38 acts 2:38-39 ez 36:25-27 faith and baptism

how do you get this personal covenant with Christ?

Easy - prayer ! Pray often, include Jesus in your life decisions and concerns (big or small). Remember the properties of God, all knowing, all powerful, ever present, eternal - no prayer is too big or too small! Over time your relationship with Jesus will become deeply personal. "on that day" Jesus will welcome you with open arms.

It's all about Matthew 7:23
OP ^

YES!

The WILL of the Father, from the beginning WAS DIVISION.
(We know that was His WILL, Because That IS what HE DID.)

The WILL of the Father, IS - His created and made Terrestrial ManKIND of things, will EXERCISE their own FREEWILL, and CHOOSE HIM to be Forever, their own God.

A manKIND’s FREEWILL to CHOOSE with or without God.

Gods ORDER -
0-4,000 years, men hearing, men choosing WITH, or not.
2,000 yrs, men hearing, men choosing, with, within, or not.
3.5 years, men hearing, men choosing, or not.
3.5 years, men on Earth, NOT hearing, are WITHOUT God.
1,000 years, men hearing, men choosing, or not.
1 DAY, Eternal Separation; of WITH God and WITHOUT God.

Gods WAY -
By, Through, Of, Because of Gods GRACE;

(Love, Offerings, Teachings, Forgivenesses, Promises, Blessings, Gifts,)
By, Through, Of, Because of Gods GIFT of Faith.
By, Through, Of, Because of Gods GIFT of Salvation.

Gods WAY - REQUIRED OF MAN -

*A man to SHOW God the man LOVES God.
*By, Through, Of,: mans heartful Belief IN the Lord God Almighty.
*By, Through, Of; a man WILLINGLY Gives his BODY to Death FOR God.

Gods PROMISE -
0-4,000 yrs...Man believes, man dies believing. SAVED.
2,000 yrs —->
...A) Man believes, man dies believing. Shall BE SAVED.
...B) Man believes, man crucified w/Christ. IS SAVED.
3.5 yr Man believes, dies, Shall Be SAVED.
3.5 yr Man can not believe, die, Shall Not be SAVED.
1,000 yrs —->
...A) Saved & Risen Occupy Earthly Kingdom
...B) Remnant Mortals, Occupy Earth outside of E~Kingdom
Remnant Mortals -generationally live/die, establish Nations.
Generationally Mortals- Some Believe- Some Stop Believing

4,000 yr + 2,000 yr = 6,000 yrs
6,000 yr + 3.5 yr + 3.5 yr = 6,007 yrs
6,007 yr + 1,000 yr + 1 day = 7,007 yrs + 1 day
7,007 yrs + 1 day + Equals Separation.
* Year 8,000 BEGINS ALL WITH Lord God Almighty 4-EVER

* Note; Ofcourse this IS according to Gods Lunar and Solar Division of Time.
(Not according to mans kind of sometimes, lunar, solar, nights, days, calendars, dates, skip a day, add a day, skip an hour, add an hour, skip a minute, add a minute, ie established and changed over centuries...currently: broadly, worldly accepted: Greenwich, England MEAN Time.)

Scripturally “8”, signifies A HOLY NEW BEGINNING.

Get Prepared, 8 is at the door, Coming Soon to a neighborhood near you.

Will of the Father....BE assuredly Prepared “IN” Christ.

Will of the Father....SENT Christ for a man to BE Prepared, IN Christ, before a mans physical death.

Prepared FOR WHAT?
Prepared TO BE ACCOUNTED, SANCTIFIED, CLAIMED and REDEEMED By God.

Using Gods NAME for doing works IN HIS NAME, while NOT assuredly BELONGING to God...IS NOT Gods WILL!

there are no personal covenants or relationships with God!

Hogwash! You have missed the WHOLE intent of the NT!

A man can BELIEVE and be with the Lord...and the Lord with him...
AND HOPE he can continue BELIEVING to the day his body DIES....
SO, he will be Saved. <—-> No guarantees, the man CAN STOP Believing.

A man can BELIEVE and CONFESS HIS HEARTFUL BELIEF....and the Lord and Christ SHALL BE WITH and IN him...
* That man no longer HOPES he can continue BELIEVING to the day his body DIES......HELLO.......HIS BODY IS DEAD, Crucified with Jesus!
* HELLO...the POWER OF GOD who IS CHRIST...is IN that man, and SHALL FOREVER, BY HIS POWER, KEEP that man, IN FAITH!

* Salvation IS PROMISED to BELIEVERS.
* Salvation IS ONLY GIVEN BELIEVERS, AFTER THEIR “BODY” IS DEAD!

DING...DING...DING.....
A man CONVERTED “IN” CHRIST, “IS” SAVED, DONE DEAL!
* THAT man PRECISELY has a Personal RELATIONSHIP with the Lord and God, WHO IS ONE.
* That mans body IS DEAD, Free from Sin, Can Sin no more.

Believers, NOT CONVERTED, “wait, hope, they will endure, keep believing to the day they bodily die and free from sin”;
so that they WILL BE SAVED!
* That man HAS a relationship with the Lord, continues to sin, continues needing an Advocate, who IS ONLY Jesus.
* That man IS WITH Jesus......NOT IN Christ.

Redemption:
The redemption was accomplished by Christ with no participation on our part!

Justification:
then when we believe in him and his redemption we are justified in that faith and baptism!

Sanctification:
then we are in Christ and his church by grace faith and baptism we practice good works (prayer, alms, fasting, virtues charity, other sacraments etc.

Salvation:
then when we are faithful to Christ and in his grace at death enter salvation!

Titus 2:14
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, (redemption) and purify unto himself a peculiar people, (justification / baptism notice purify / wash) zealous of good works. (Sanctification) Matt 24:13 endures to the end Shall be saved.
(Salvation)
