Baloney (tofu style). Go back to my start. Then see your hardness of heart therein after it.... You never even tried to get to know the people here...

Just trying to be correct about LDS sources and names is all.
I think you are complicating what I was clearly trying to get across. You are just too wise for me.What about the question about where Jesus was quoting from "in the law" (Matthew 22:36,37-40) and its context, which you raised? Surely the question was not long, nor complicated, right?
Oh, c'mon sister. The question is simple (designed to get people to think). Wisdom comes from God.I think you are complicating what I was clearly trying to get across. You are just too wise for me.
I will get back in a bit, I have a friend here right now and we are going to watch a sermon together online....Oh, c'mon sister. The question is simple (designed to get people to think). Wisdom comes from God.
Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Deal. Can I recommend a sermon for you? for later perusal?I will get back in a bit, I have a friend here right now and we are going to watch a sermon together online....

Hi TheHolyBookEnds, I think you and I have actually chatted on ChristianForums before (I recognize your post).
Yeah, but I quoted official LDS sources on the subject. I received no answer about their own sources that deals with those sources (and was even banned from an LDS forum for asking), then (other forum) or now. I am not looking to railroad LDS or anyone else. I am interested in truth and that takes prayerful "study", and I read those things produced by other faiths so that I know what they believe, or claim to believe:Everybody Recognizes His Post's/ He rely needs a full time Publisher/ they are not posts they are Book's. LOL ...

You and I actually chatted for two weeks on ChristianForums, with all these exact same posts and videos. You became very frustrated that I do not share SDA's interpretation of things and the conversation ended.Yeah, but I quoted official LDS sources on the subject. We could say the same about the Catholic Church, but there are still Christians in the Catholic Church.
I have yet to see an answer to the simplest of questions from Jane...just keeps coming back as to "why" one wants to know the answer to the questions she so freely said to do, "ask me questions...

Pity.I can understand, a need to get a grip on other denominational view's, and that's OK, as for me I will pass over extremely long Post's if there is not something of value in the first couple of paragraphs! Personally it is difficult for me to read at length!
I am a member of, the remnant foretold in prophecy (Revelation 10:1-11; Revelation 12:17; Revelation 14:6-12), the last Elijah messengers, the second/third Advent Heralds, Seventh-day Adventist movement.Question ? are you JW.
Yes. The context is the Ten Commandments, see Deuteronomy 5:1-33 and Deuteronomy 6:1-4, Deuteronomy 6:6-25. Then see "sin" in Leviticus 19:17, and "not hate".
Jesus says nothing that is not in perfect harmony with all that is gone before in the Law and the Prophets, Isaiah 8:20. This question doesn't address that Jesus was quoting OT (which people continually say was written only for the Jews (that is error)) in response to the question that the Pharisee asked Him.
Jesus was contrasting His perfect explanation of that which is written, with those others (Pharisees, scribes, etc) that also commented, "said", on the Law and the Prophets. So when Jesus said, "Ye have heard it said ...", He was not referring directly to the written material (otherwise He would have said, "It is written ..."), but to those who expounded (commented, said things, as the Pharisees, scribes, Sadducees, etc) upon it, and then He Himself said (as Master/Lord and giver of the Law and Prophets), "but I say ..." as the ultimate and final authority in explanation.
