wtj,You are cutting and pasting random Scripture verses out of context, thinking you are making some point. What is the point you are trying to make? You have done this several times now in several threads, what points are you trying to make?
Did you read some of them scriptures Tom. Sounds like you have to be baptised in order to be saved. 1st Peter3:21 is pretty clear as to what Peter says is required. ItSAVES US NOW.I think we need to look into this a little closer to makesure we are not missing something. Tom, give me your take on 1st Peter 3:21 please. I think that is a good placeto start.Logabe

Acts 8:12 says, 12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.The key was..."when they believed Philip" they obeyed, they had faithin what Philip was teaching. Were they Jews? So Philip was teaching the exact message that Peter preached in Acts 2:38 to the Smaritans.Acts 10:47 says,47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?I believe Peter was consistant when he preached towhoever. The Bible doesn't say Corneliis and hishousehold was Jews. This was a new covenant andwe must obey by faith.Acts 19:55 When they heard [this], they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.After 25 years...Paul was preaching the same messageof justification that Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost.Logabe
