7 Points for Making the Gospel Clear

1. We are all sinners.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

2. The penalty for our sin is death, eternal separation from God forever in Hell.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

3. Heaven is a perfect place and we must be sinless to enter.

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

4. No amount of good works can make us sinless or pay for our sin.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

5. God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die in our place and rose again to make the full payment for our sin.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

6. All we can do to go to Heaven is to believe or trust in Jesus Christ alone that He has paid for our sin.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

7. We can know that we have everlasting life now, because everlasting life is everlasting.

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Jesus talked about salvation Joe, so it is a real hope. God guarantees salvation to all those who have chosen to stand on His side. He has even done this in the past, which events only are a fore-gleam into what He will do in the future.

Jesus said that those who do the will of God, are the ones that will inherit the Kingdom sir, so can we be sure of our salvation? Yes, if we do the will of God, observing His commandments 1 Jn 5:3 we can be assured of our salvation. But we must do it His way, not like those who did many powerful things in Jesus name, but chose to do it their way rather than Gods. Mat 7:21-23
