Praying, @amadeus .... could if be a clot? Idk if you're vaxed, but clots are a concern with certain vaccines.
No, it is not a clot.

He mentioned some other possibilities. My mind does not process things fast enough to have understood and to remember them all now.

My wife's memory is better on such things, and our daughter, an RN, was there as well. The two of them seemed relieved so I am relieved as well even though it is not over yet. Hey, for that matter it is not over until God says it is.

Thanks for your concern and prayers.

Was just about to ask how things went. Still praying for a perfect outcome.

Very difficult for an old man to change his habits much but my wife helps me by preparing not less than one good meal daily.

I don't know about the vinegar. I had a severe heart burn problem for years which I overcame in part by learning to avoid things like lemonade. I will wait and see what the specialist says next Monday about whether I do have a cancer and suggested diets. Alone I might not do much, but my wife will make sure that I do more of the right things, even if means taking on lemon as @bbyrd009 advised here earlier.

When I was young I always loved a good cold glass of lemonade, but when it started bringing on or aggravating the severe heart burn I have purposely avoided it like the plague for a number of years...

Thanks to everyone for the good advice along the prayers here. God is in control. We only need to stay on His side even during the worst of times. This, for me, is it not there yet. Praise His name!
@amadeus If you try this, that shot of ACV is supposed to be diluted in a warm glass of water. Don't drink it straight!

:)

Yes, I tried a straight vinegar decades ago... I don't remember more what it was for... but almost immediately I diluted it with something... LOL...

I've got to practice, but I mean this:
Shalom Aleichem, Achi b'Mashiah! (Peace be upon you, my brother in Messiah!)

Still no terrible news, but it is not finished yet either...

This A.M. I went to the specialist, a thoracic surgeon. He showed me all of the X-rays and scans and explained the details carefully, but what I understood is that is remains 'ify'. He believes considering all factors that if it is cancerous...it is not very aggressive.

They will schedule another scan by which he will be able to tell better if the thing is changing and other details. There are more tests to run and changes in the way I sleep and so forth. I do not recall all of the details, but my wife and daughter understand and will lead me the right way I am certain... Continue to keep me in your prayers.
Praise God that the reports are not confirming cancer...continuing to pray for a good report!

Was just about to ask how things went. Still praying for a perfect outcome.

All things work for the good of those who love God..

A perfect outcome is assured!

Our Lord has conquered death, what then shall we fear?

Be not afraid!

And love!

Blessings on you @amadeus and on your wonderdul bride!

In my prayers!

Pax et Bonum!

Another update here:

Things could be worse. My lung spot according to one specialist could be from a hiatal hernia or other digestive issues. That is one of the other possibilities for me.

I had a virtual appointment with a gastro specialist on Monday [11-29] to check out some of the other possibilities. He has scheduled tests for me on 12-14 ... one through the rectum and another down my throat. Neither one cheers me especially. I might decide to stay home that day... but my wife won't allow that. The gastro specialist say he doubts his tests will eliminate the need eventually to have a biopsy done. Talk about being invaded! I believe they will have to go down my throat for the biopsy as well when it comes to that.

So then on 1-3-2022 in the morning I have an appointment for another CT scan to monitor any changes to the nodule. That same afternoon I will meet with the thoracic surgeon to plan on what is next dependent on what all of the tests show. Maybe a biopsy? Maybe surgery to remove the thing?

To keep us on my toes I guess I had a staff infection in my eyes this past month and had to visit another specialist. I was treated with a steroid ointment for several days which has improved the eye discomfort. My eyes still bother me but I just wash them carefully every day for the moment. At least I can see to read my Bible and to see my computer screen.

Also, last month my wife had a mammogram and they found a spot in one breast that needed to be checked. When they told her that she jokingly told me that we were going to make our 50th anniversary [6-25-2022] even if she only had one 'boob' and I only had one lung.

They scheduled an ultrasound on the one breast and the results were good... with no cancer or other problems for her in that anyway... Give God the glory for that!

However, my wife is a bit stubborn and long suffering. Her back, on which she has had two surgeries, is causing her a lot of pain. She has seen our primary physician, but she won't allow anyone to contact the specialist about that while my "possible" is pending.

We await definite word on me.

Please continue to pray for both of us!

I had a biopsy from the GI doctor. It's no big deal but your wife will have to drive you back from the appointment or something like that. They won't let you drive afterwards as you will be put out. I also had a staff infection once on my nose. No fun. Sorry your having troubles. I will pray for you both amadeus. Hope your wife's back improves too.
