THOMAS needed EVIDENCE .
JESUS simply said blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe .
No man can prove the bible is the word of GOD to those who dont want to receive it .
Anymore than the desciples themselves could prove to an APOSTEL called thomas .
THOMAS had TO SEE to BELEIVE .
BUT WHAT DID JESUS SAY , YOU BELEIVE CAUSE YOU SAW ME , BUT BLESSED are THOSE WHO DO NOT SEE , DID NOT SEE
and YET BELEIVE .
I can no more convince you that the kjv bible was inspired by GOD than could the apostles convince thomas that JESUS indeed had risen from the dead .
ONLY GOD can open your eyes my friend . I KNOW GOD INSPIRED THAT BIBLE . I KNOW it better than i know my own self .
But to convince you or the doubters , WELL , ONLY GOD can open your eyes . And if ye resist the SPIRIT , well , then that is on you .

I've answered earlier on why I believe the bible is from God with my first reason. I'll continue with my second.
It was January, 1989. I arrived at the apartment of a woman I'd recently met at a New Year's Eve party. She was cute!
She let me in and asked me to sit at the dining room table while she got us some drinks. As I sat down, I saw a bible sitting on the table right in front of me. I didn't know she was a Christian! The nerve of those people! Lol
Though I hadn't touched a bible since the 70s, I flipped it open and started reading. Then the strangest thing happened. The words appeared to jump up off of the page right in front of my face and, "Poof!" I was somewhere else.
I was standing on a cloud. A hundred yards in front of me was the leading edge of another cloud. Under the star-and-moonlit night, I saw, stretching to the horizon, a massive army on horseback!
There was someone standing at my right side, though I couldn't see who it was. My gaze was directed several rows back into the army and I saw that the riders had weapons in their hands. Then my gaze was directed to the front row and I saw that these riders had musical instruments in their hands.
My vision was zoomed into the face of one rider and to my surprise, I saw that it was me! "Poof!" I was back in my friend's dining room.
Seven years later, to within a few days, perhaps exactly to the day, I led the worship team at the first-ever weekly Sunday morning service of the Brantford Vineyard church. Pretty cool, eh? I don't know how He does it, but He makes it look easy! Lol

With all due respect, unless I’ve misunderstood, that is like saying “please do not claim there is only one God, one Lord unless you can substantiate your claim with evidence apart from a holy book.

It probably is my friend . But even if it wasnt , BLESSED are those who have not seen and yet believe .
God alone draws one to JESUS . Let the KING be praised . I dont need proof of anything , just the lovely revelation
from GOD to me about CHRIST , is all i needed . LET all that has breath praise the LORD .

Why wrestle with this man about this . No man can come to ME lest the Father draw HIM .
THERE IS ONLY ONE JUDGE . And i aint about to start trying to PROVE ANYTHING BY EVIDENCE of science and men .
Just speak the truth . Either they hear it or they reject it . ONLY GOD giveth the increase .
This is something , i myself , had to learn . We cant prove anything to anyone . All we can do is speak truth .
AND Speak the truth in that bible .
They argue with mens reasoning and then expect us to debate with that same kind of reasoning . WHICH reasoning will never
lead anyone to GOD . For the carnal mind cannot lead one to GOD . Stand On that bible my friend and never let folks
dictate to you , HOW you need to speak and how you need to say things .

A common mistake I often see made on internet forums is something called
conflation; which works sort of like this:

Since it's true that there was a Herod back in the first century, then it must
be true that someone called the Word created the cosmos because both are

Is that logical? No, of course not. It's like movies based on a true story.
Well; people who don't know the difference can be easily fooled into thinking
they're watching a documentary of something that actually happened
instead of a dramatized version of it. In other words; the existence of Herod
doesn't prove the existence of someone called the Word.

The Big Bang Theory beautifully reveals the logical flaw in the material only universe secular theory.

The same with life.

In both scenarios, the secularists really have no plausible explanation.

1. The existence of existence
2. The existence of life

Science is returning to its proper alignment with understanding and the awe inspiring majesty of God’s work.

maybe this is off topic , but for me , I have no idea how God started things …except we do know that “God said” so He spoke it into ‘being’. We have no idea whether God then clapped His hands and it went BANG! :)

I used to be legally ridged in what I believed , but after so many years , I believe God has some surprises in store for us when He reveals how He did everything from Gen to Rev.

One thing I do know is… That Whatever we think that we know, we know nothing yet …until the great unveiling.

I’m guessing the only evidence would be the manifestation of the Spirit of God seen through our lives. If Christ is manifest at all then there would have to be a source of this product.

I am not sure that this applies to the topic, but I do agree that the fruitages of the spirit of God will be observable among Christians. Jesus clearly stated that they could be identified by the love they had among themselves.

I only can speak from what I’ve experienced. Can one go to a counselor and see it? Truly I don’t see counselors as working magic …like they speak and someone’s eyes are instantly opened to ‘wow, I’m so glad you pointed that out, I had never noticed that before you said it.’ Like magic, my life has been fixed, here is the money for your session thanks. I use to see a woman counselor and I do believe she helped plant, an example ‘perfect love cast out fear’. but (Imo) God is the one who took those things she had said; years after I stopped seeing her, where for the first time some of what she said back then made sense. At the time, I was staring at her in every session knowing I needed help, not knowing where to go for help, and secretly thinking she was full of it. Like the pills for panic attacks. Like the depression medicine. The psycho analysis. All of it useless. I had lost all faith in any of it being a magic pill. Maybe temporary help, but not help to the core of a thing, which core was me. I had lost faith anyone could get at the core. Again (just an opinion) but what is the evidence for me: is the profound way God can go right to the heart and reveal who we are. We don’t like it. But the evidence (again to me) is how no other but Him pin-points the heart of the matter better…even in the Word of God where He tells why we do some of the things like rebel, fight, accuse out of fear, wrestle and resist. Hating change …while everyday preaching and teaching and professing ‘they will be changed’. yet despising, hating and fearful of any change at all, fighting it to the bitter end. Like rebellious children seeing change as something to be avoided and immediately spit on. (Just an opinion). The evidence being He took part of the same, saying He is able to take that which is marred and create something useful? which is Why ‘and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.’ Isaiah 9:6

The Bible is referred to as a mirror, for us to examine ourselves for sure Vicki. Many people go to psychiatrists to have mental issues revealed as well. Personally I believe the Bible is the best self help book however as you may feel as well.

All of us believe in something. We have something we put faith in... whether it pertains to God and His Way or not. Most people believe in computers and what one can do with them. Most people believe in gasoline powered vehicles [automobiles for example] and what one can do with them. Neither of my examples were always believed by most people, were they?

I am convinced that what is written in my heart by the Spirit is from God. The Bible is the bare bones of Jesus, but who can see and understand it all? Who can see and understand of all of Jesus? Unbelievers read the Bible and get nothing good because they really are not looking for it.

Virtually everyone thinks they are righteous Amad Pro21:2, but Jesus clearly stated only a few would be saved Mat 7:14. Jesus clearly stated his followers could be identified by their fruits sir, Christians are able to know their brothers and sisters virtually instantly with just a small conversation. There are other identifiers as well, the primary identifier is the love among themselves. Jn 13:34,35

when we get quiet enough and shut out the babble of the world , we hear Gods voice …sometimes a whisper within our spirit. Sometimes through a verse He brings to mind that speaks to us …only once , back in 1975 did I hear the loud booming voice of God…it shook the house ( to me) …my husband slept on, he didn’t hear it.
These are only a few ways of God speaking….. God does not limit Himself.

It’s impossible to become a child of God if we never HEAR Him call us! And each one of us has a different experience.

(Isaiah 30:21) . . .your own ears will hear a word behind you saying, “This is the way. Walk in it,” in case you should go to the right or in case you should go to the left.

Yes, I too believe that Jehovah speaks to us through His word.

I agree evidence can be seen, for instance right now pestilence is very observable. No one can honestly debate WW#1 breaking out. These are definitely evidences to me. Some will say we have always had wars and diseases, but Jesus gave those signs to be happening concurrently within one generation.
