Let’s start here … even though this verse is about non-believers
who cannot “see” the Truth of the gospel message:

“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds
of those who don’t believe.” (1 Corinthians 4:4)

Satan has the “power” to cause BACs to be “blind” in some areas!
“he is a master of deception and the father of lies!” (John 8:44)

Satan is able to blind some BACs (including pastors) from seeing
various spiritual Truths, or there wouldn’t be so many warnings about:

● being deceived
● habitual (unrepentant) sinning
● falling away from the faith
● being estranged from Christ
● falling from grace
● drawing back to perdition
● not inheriting the kingdom of God
● not being allowed into the New Jerusalem
● being blotted out of the Book of Life, etc.

Apparently, many BACs do NOT “see” the dire warnings written in the NT.
Some BACs (including pastors) DO see them, but refuse to accept them!

But, let’s look at those BACs who REALLY ARE “blind” to God’s warnings.

What can cause BACs to be spiritually blind
about the Truth and about God’s warnings?

HIDDEN WARNINGS ● In the epistles, warnings are “somewhat hidden”
amongst everything else, including many edifications, encouragements,
exhortations, etc. Compounding this, Paul usually wrote with extreme
tact so he would still be welcome to visit the churches that he founded.
Also, the Lord did not want these warnings to upset the babes in Christ.

ETERNAL SECURITY DOCTRINE ● This popular doctrine has caused many
believers to feel dangerously safe and secure. To others, this doctrine
has an opposite effect: they have appreciated what God has done for them
so much that their great love for Him has caused them to be willing to obey
His commandments. Praise God, those BACs who are actually seeking after
righteousness certainly can feel eternally secure!

HYPER-GRACE DOCTRINE ● God’s free gift of GRACE gives new believers
absolutely everything! It is also God’s power to make BACs into what He
wants them to be! … However, they must co-operate with Him! The popular
doctrines of today: grace-only, hyper-grace, etc. teach that BACs have NO
responsibility or accountability for their salvation. This is obviously false!
One simple example of the many “conditional” type of verses in the NT is:
“I declare to you the gospel … by which you are saved, IF you hold fast that word
which I preached to you – unless you believed in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:1-2)

DECEIVED PASTORS ● Many pastors are deceived into believing some of
the false doctrines above. These shepherds are failing in their duty to warn
their sheep concerning things which are vital to their spiritual well-being!
The blood of the sheep who don’t make it (who have NOT been warned
about their responsibilities) will be on the hands of their pastors …
no matter what the pastors’ reasons/excuses are!

Believe it or not
God is still warning His people through His prophets and watchmen!
But, His people need to be OPEN to hear His warnings!
A small excerpt from one of His warnings given in 2018:
“shepherds leading multitudes to hell”.

If you think the BACs are spiritually blind you should meet some of the RTI's.

But, your doctrine of belief is not funny at all.
.

The puppet master reality is an absurd idea.
If you enter the scriptures with no common sense, you can come away with some weird beliefs and doctrines like;

To be a disciple of Christ you have to hate your father and mother, etc.
To be a disciple of Christ you have to give away all you own and walk around like a bohemian.
Camel through a needle! No one wealthy goes to heaven.
We should be walking around with crosses.
Let the dead bury the dead.
God can predestine…so He predestines everything…reality is a puppet show. Need some popcorn with that?
Make sure to kill fig trees.
And the temple thing! Good thing Christ was not worried about the person temple. How do nails work for that, because He chose that, and it tore up His temple.
Since the Law could not justify anyone….they all went to hell!
Of course there is Hebrews…if you fall away…there is no return…because there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins. See ya, wouldn’t want to be ya!
It is better not to touch a woman. No more mommies! That would have worked well!
Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans; but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel….So I guess we got this all wrong, Christ only came for the Jews and I guess the story of the woman at the well with Christ was a lie!
Turn the other cheek and keep turning, until communism and Satan takes over your country. Whatever you do, do not fight! Why do you think that Christ decided to hook Christianity up with some muscle?
Oh, and lets not forget…Behold the Lamb of God, that takes away the sins of the world. Well ya know, that Christ was just not good enough or powerful enough to get that job done. The world was full of sin when Christ came and it was full of sin when he left. That was their best plan? Really! Well at least Christ tried….

Isn't it a wonderful thing to be able to simply take any Scripture and MISAPPLY IT, and then develop a theory out of that?

Did you notice the last clause? It applies to THOSE WHO DON'T BELIEVE. UNBELIEVERS. And you are applying it to born again Christians (BACs). But no one can be born again without believing.

So what this OP is is pure SLANDER.

I'm sorry but these appear to be the rantings and ravings of an unbeliever.

Not saying that is what you are...just saying that your words make you sound like one.

We will know a tree by its fruit...

But I am certain that you have shown elsewhere that you have faith in Jesus; I seem to recall seeing some good fruit coming from you somewhere.

So it turns to insults. Enough! I have got rough with you in the past and you will not provoke me. I have read your statement and clearly you have had a hard time of it. We are done for now...later

Yes JBF, I had thought the same thing. It's almost like a different Grail.

You need to call the blind something else. One who is born cannot reenter the womb.

This blindness is not unlike that which came upon Israel, but they are not the born again. Israel are rather the dead in Christ who's salvation is according to promise and in death, of whom Christ was the Last. On the contrary, the born again do not see death.

Thus, this blindness is comparable, but not ministered in the same manner, not by darkness of death. As God Lead Israel by night in a pillar of fire, He now leads by a pillar of cloud. This is Christ coming in the clouds, just as He said.

Yes, you mean like a person who asks a BAC for some NT proof verses,
receives them immediately in a new thread,
and then never acknowledges that the BAC has posted the thread.

Gee, I wonder who that person might be!

Yes, bad fruit grows on a bad tree.

I'm not sure what you are talking about...is this something that you think has happened with me?

Did I ask you for some proof verses, and then you gave them in a separate thread, and I didn't acknowledge the new thread?

If that is the case, I am sorry. You should have provided a link in the old thread to the new one, so that I would be more easily directed to the new thread.

I tend not to look at the table of contents in any given venue; but I tend to go to the top right corner to see if there have been any responses to threads that I am already involved in. If things slow down and there is nothing more to be said in the threads that I am involved in, only then do I normally go to the table of contents.

I consider bad fruit to be things like, chewing someone out when they did nothing to hurt you...calling someone a false teacher and not backing up that statement with scripture and how the holy scriptures refute the false teaching in question...bullying...I've seen all of these things borne by those who believe themselves to be born again Christians...but Jesus said, By their fruits you shall know them.
