As Jesus proclaimed a few times in the gospels …. He always did the Fathers will.

That means He walked by revelation ….. always! .... He was tapped in 24/7.

Anything that Jesus did …. He did and spoke the things that the Father told Him.

Most likely they are/were teachable moments for those around Him…. and in both those accounts it was regarding believing (faith)

Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

'the lost sheep of Israel' has a broader meaning than ethnicity. He drew the Woman out and it became an object lesson for the disciples.

Staying stuck in our faulty paradigms is what Jesus wants to draw us out of. If the disciples had stayed in the paradigms they were raised in, they would have been severely hamstrung. Another example of Jesus breaking paradigms was the touching of a leper....this was a no no........and allowing a woman to touch his feet, rub oil into them and dry them with her hair....whoaaaaa! for that culture it was radical......and imagine, spitting on the ground, stirring it up to make mud, then smearing it on a mans eyes.....how would we feel about that?

Matthew 8:5-13

New King James Version

Jesus Heals a Centurion’s Servant

5 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, 6 saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”
7 And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.
10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! 11 And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.

Matthew 15:

A Gentile Shows Her Faith

21 Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”

23 But He answered her not a word.

And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”

24 But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”

26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”

27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”

28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Different ways of showing the power of our faith in the Messiah.

In short, in the 1940's Maria Valtorta was chosen by Jesus to be His "pen," to show Her scenes from His public life, beginning with His birth and ending after His resurrection, then write all she heard, saw, and was told by Him to say. All her writings were compiled into a total of five volumes entitled: The Gospels As They Were Revealed To Me, or The Poem of the Man-God. They are a loving gift from Jesus that gives a more detailed look into the stories we read about in the Bible and others, including the one of the Cananean mother, which you can read about in full in The Poem of the Man-God: Vol. III, chs. 328-330, pp. 164-180. In it Jesus answers the apostle's inquiries as to why He behaved as He did before helping the woman.

Do you mean to heal the servant and for the gentile to exercise faith?
