I think something to be noted here, is that even as "prey" those who are not Evolutionists have a choice. That choice is this: are they selecting items or are they binding against attrition.
Prey that is selecting items - that is, that help it live - is at peace and does not need to be guarded against (the way you might guard against other predators); prey that is binding against attrition, is prey that is securing its flock, whether by word or deed and is largely no different from the rest of the flock - unless it is time for the hunt, they will simply conduct themselves in the best way to sustain and encourage the flock.
The point of this is, being "prey" does not mean you automatically die; yes, numbers of the flock die during the hunt, but if they were staunch advocates of the flock, they will have the opportunity to be resurrected as part of the flock. Joy comes to those who do not resist this process! A predator may even decide they have had enough of the life of the predator - because it is hard - and seek to be resurrected as part of the flock. The prey according to the Lord, always enjoys more of Heaven, than the predator on Earth ever does - being the fittest is irrelevant in Heaven!
So! If you spend your whole life thinking you believe in being the fittest and you get to Heaven: you will be sorely disappointed!
