Its our "human" nature to want to be a main part of our redemption.
God's Grace is actually running against our human nature.
To Believe Right, regarding the Grace of God, is to exist in a mind that has accepted that God starts and completes our Salvation .. Philippians 1:6 And Jesus handles our Faith for us, after we are born again.
"Jesus is the author and FINISHER of OUR Faith".
See that? = "OUR".
Our natural and carnal point of view is.....>"God started it, now let me work on it, to complete it".
That is our natural mind in opposition to "The Mind of Christ".
This is how the heretic reads "work out your salvation"....they read it carnally, and believe this verse means...>"work on your salvation to keep yourself saved, or to complete it".
All of us have this urge to try to make ourselves RIGHT with God....to try to be accepted by our performance.
God offers Mercy and Grace in place of our performance, and that is "the Finished WORK of Jesus on The Cross."
"Self Righteousness".... we all have to let that go and Let God ALONE= be our Salvation through the Blood of Jesus.
When we let go of our performance to be accepted theology of self righteousness, we begin to exist in the Place of Grace, as God has provided it through the BLood of Jesus.
This is Right Believing.
