[sup]5[/sup] But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. [sup]6[/sup] He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
Quite opposite of the false gospel presented by Richard, according to which you know you're in him if you know you're in him, but not by the fruit, because according to Richard, it is impossible that we bear the heavenly fruit!
What kind of a gospel is that?
And how did Jesus walk? He walked in believe, faith, trust, confidence that He was the Son of God and that even though He would be put to death on a cross He would be raised from the grave. And He did it because He loved us.
Your claim that I am teaching a false gospel is just your opinion. My opinion is that you are teaching a false gospel where it is all about you and your good works. You keep on saying you are like Christ and your love for others is seriously lacking.
What did Satan tell Eve? Wasn't is that if she would eat of the forbidden fruit she would be like God? And here are you telling everyone that you are like God.
You said; "Quite opposite of the false gospel presented by Richard, according to which you know you're in him if you know you're in him, but not by the fruit, because according to Richard, it is impossible that we bear the heavenly fruit!"
You want to be like God while still living in a body of sin. Again you make a false statement against me. I have never said the children of God do not bear fruit and you know it. You will make a false statement against me (a sin) and then sit back and say you are sinless.
What fruit do you have? Do you teach the gospel of grace so that more sinful people can enter heaven? Or is your fruit your false claims that you are like God. How does that spead the word of salvation except to the ones who want to be God.
Now Richard please think about this very simple thing you missed when i point it out to you. I only need this part of your post as the simple thing you missed applies to it all.
I beg you please consider:
All that Paul said there was before what?
Romans 7:24 "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?"
I noticed that you did not include verse 25
Romans 7:25
25 I thank God — through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, b
ut with the flesh the law of sin.
NKJV
Why did you do that?
In the next verse he tells you who shall as in future tense deliver him and guess what else Paul told us Richard?
Colossians 1:13 "[God] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:"
2 Corinthians 1:9-10 "But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;"
Paul was talking about the man he was before Christ in chapter 7 Richard for he saw himself and all in Christ as delivered from the powers of darkness and there having no excuse any longer to sin.
Richard, pay attention to what the next verse here says:
Romans 8:11-12 "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh."
You don't know the difference in flesh and spirit. All of these things you claim are spiritual. It is our Spirit that has been born again, not our sinful flesh.
You said: "I beg you please consider:" Rubbish, so you think I should throw away my faith in Jesus and place it in your opinions of scriptures. Not in this life!!! Your inflated opinion of yourself knows no bounds. I have read the scriptures that God provided mankind and, as the scriptures say, my teacher is the Holy Spirit, not man.
John 3:5-8
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 T
hat which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'
8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
NKJV
I can't see that Jesus said that when we are born of the Spirit we are no longer flesh.
Your idea that our flesh is translated NOW is rubbish.
