Hi there!

Well, I'm afraid I have some bad news: fools are here to stay. In the beginning there were very few fools, because God did greater and greater things, as Witness of His Creative Glory. But in the end, there will be a great number of fools, that look very much like gods but being barren because they are also like spiritual barbarians. This is the fate of the world - let every generation study the scripture daily, that they may know what manner of fool is there, what his folly is and how great a ditch he speaks of. For the fool does not understand himself to be a fool, thinks that he can justify his folly and speaks of the ditch as granting power, because he sees the blind falling in to it, but does not wish to raise the alarm. These things are on the head of the fool and there is no way to cause them to diminish, since from now to the end, the generation of fools will continue.

The antidote to this, is the Word. The Word makes foolish the wise and corrects the fool; if you know the Word, you may be made foolish, but being foolish you will not be far from correction. If you are corrected, you are free of your foolishness. Therefore if you seek the Word early, correction will indoctrinate you against foolishness, as will result in other fools being corrected with you. That really is the goal: not to eradicate the fools of this world, but to educate and correct and indoctrinate (but especially correct). How much correction will be needed, for the fools of the remaining generations, is a mystery, but in principle there will be at least one correction, for every subsquent fool. That's not saying God could not create men who were unable to be foolish, just that he desires for the fool to receive correction, more than that (more than being a man who can't be foolish).

So will we be approved of God, if we patiently correct the errors that fools make issue of? Yes! God desires that none perish, He will most certainly reward those who are patient with fools! Correction abounds in God, His Word is fit for the correction of almost everything the fool can dream up to be foolish about. Does the fool trust the Word? A little, but in the end a great deal! There is power in this, because if the Devil does not have power over the fools of this world, he cannot control the men. This is Salvation. God actively works against the Devil gaining power over fools, as much as He forebears to protect men from the snare (that is coming upon the Earth). Are you able to say a fool will not love his own, even if he has to sacrifice himself to do so? Can you tell that the fool cannot receive instruction, to build a house on the rock, though his head tells him what justifies it is at least a little unknown? These things justify and prove God (in reverse order). Thus we are in awe of God, for He has made the fool a tool, for correcting the wise!

I hope these words encourage you to some degree.

God bless.
