Hi there,
So Jesus said "the end will not come immediately" and for the most part, you would think you were able to ignore the fool who does not understand this. Unfortunately, the fool is able to fall in love with the end, for the wrong reasons. If the fool thinks he sees his foolishness in the end, even if it is not immediate, then he has every reason to fall in love with the end. Does that make him wise? No, because he falls in love with the end, for the wrong reasons. But what does that mean for the rest of us? For the rest of us, that means we have to watch our steps! There is literally no point spending time arguing with a fool, that he is headed for destruction, much less when he has fallen in love with the idea that his foolishness will never end.
What makes this worse, is that the fool in love with the end, does not even spare others a word! That's right, the fool does not need anything else but his own foolishness - if he has the end, and gets excited about it, eventually he will reach it -- without even a word! This being the case, we will look back on the times when people believed "Evolution" with mourning, compared to the Hell it is to put up with a fool who is in love with the end. The only way to cope with a fool of this magnitude, is to keep the Word of God in mind daily. This is the only way to escape the snare of someone, who does not care what the Word is. Now, I know this is difficult, but in a sense even reading the Word of God briefly for the Day, will be sufficient.
The question is, how long will the fool love the end for the sake of more foolishness, and not itch in some way, to know more? The truth is, it won't be long at all before the fool's idea of the end seems tiresome or boring. This is what we must be ready for: that the fool in love with the end, will desire to understand what the Bible says about his foolishness. If we can tolerate and accommodate and limit bias to an extent, at some point the fool will be curious what foolishness is from our perspective. This is the power of the Great Cloud of Witness! The Cloud does not reflect what people think of themselves, but what they think of God, in themselves. As learning increases (as the Bible says it will) so will curiosity about God, Witness and Justice. If we are smart, we will be praying that the fool finds himself compelled to ask for more, than his own love of himself in the end (in principle). We can win this fight, we just need to be diligent - especially for forewarning that the fool is coming across our path (if he is).
So there you have it, the one who escapes the snare coming on the Earth, is the one that reads his bible. I hope this has been of some encouragement to you.
God bless.
