What IS the "spirit (breath, wind)" that we all have- according to the BIBLE?

GABRIEL told MARY that God's Spirit is "the Power of the Most High God".

"Spirit" is from the Hebrew and Greek words capturing the essence of an unseen force: "Wind, Breath"!

Isa 42:5- Thus saith God Jehovah, he that created the heavens, and stretched them forth; he that spread abroad the earth and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein.-ASV


It is God's Breath ("spirit") that keeps us all alive.

I should take a leaf out of your book Job...instead of trying to help people to see how they can be a part of this site..rather than arrive here and then expect us all to swoon and be wowed by hearing something that 'he thinks' that we have never heard before .

same here with your post. this is why, and how christian can get alone even if they disagree. BG, I'm of this persuasion , we all can learn something form each other. I know I don't know it all, but other God have revealed to you, what to me he have not. but this is why we are not to forsake the assembly of the saints. we need each other. we know more together than apart. so keep on speaking.

Our spirit is our mind- our attitude and also includes our faith and zeal.
Not an 'immortal soul'.
But I guess worshiping in an 'immortal soul' makes PERFECT 'sense' to those not knowing God and Christ.....
