The mark of the beast is a spiritual mark that occurs when the spirit of anti-Christ indwells a believer. It is not physical or visible to the human eye.

Christ said that His words are "spirit" (John 6:63). To understand Christ's spirit words, they must be understood in a spiritual way and not a carnal way. Spiritual words describe events which happen within a person. They do not happen outwardly in the world as so many mistakenly believe.

Also, the mark is said to be on the right hand. This is because that location represents "works". All apostate believers will have this spiritual mark because they have accepted Satan's "another gospel" which mixes "works" with faith.

The mark is also said to be on the forehead. This location represents that the believer is controlled by the spirit of anti-Christ (Satan).

As for the number of the beast being 666. This number is a spiritual symbol. The number 6 represents carnal and sinful mankind who are all children of the devil. The number 3 represents a spiritual process. When the two number are combined, they become 666.

In the verses below, Christ explains how this spiritual process of a believer becoming a man of sin (666) happens:

Mat 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself SEVEN other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. The spiritual symbol of an unclean spirit represents a spirit which teaches Satan's false truth through lies and deceptions.

Since a new believer remains spiritually blind (Mark 8:21-25) after receiving the Early Rain of the Spirit, they cannot replace their worldly false beliefs with the truth of Christ. ONE unclean spirit leaves but comes back with SEVEN more. The number "seven" represents perfection. In this case, the number seven represents the perfection of Satan's lies/deceptions which come to a believer by the indwelling of the spirit of anti-Christ. Now, instead of ONE unclean spirit within the believer, they now have EIGHT. The number eight is a spiritual symbol which represents a new spiritual condition. In this case, the new spiritual condition is worse than the first.

This "worse than the first" spiritual condition causes the believer to become a False Prophet, a Man of Sin, a Minister of Satan and a Seven Headed Beast with Ten Horns & Crowns.

The teachings of the book of Revelation do not describe future world events. Its teachings describe spiritual events that happen within the Elect as they travel the pathway to their salvation. For that reason, the book of Revelation says this:

Rev 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

To be blessed, an Elect believer will keep the sayings of the book and this most certainly includes chapter 13.

Also, the book says that the "time is at hand" for the fulfillment of the prophecies taught in the book:

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

All the Elect since the time John received the revelation have keep the sayings of the book and have experienced the second coming of Christ before they died. For that reason, the book says that the second coming of Christ is a reoccurring event:

Rev 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to COME; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne...

Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to COME, the Almighty.

Rev 11:17 saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because you have taken your great power and reigned.

End-time prophecy teaches the spiritual pathway to salvation the Elect will travel before they die. If a person does not experience those prophecies during their lifetime, they are not one of the Elect.

They may all be part of the tracking system the beast and his govt. will use. but once again we must wait to actually see what form it will take. What they are doing in Norway fully meets how th emark is administered, but we will see.

I'm sorry, but that statement is incorrect. If the mark is spiritual, then the buying and selling are also spiritual, and have nothing to do with banks, money, Walmart, or the stock market. It has everything to do with the gospel, or false gospel, that we as God's merchants buy and sell as we go into the world to preach. In Revelation 13, we are talking about false gospel or doctrine that comes from false prophets and christs. The people of the congregation who have received the mark will buy or sell it, and this is related to the false gospel that they have accepted.

This is WHERE the man of sin ruled, and where the men which had RECEIVED the mark of the beast dwelled, and who worshiped him THERE "as if" he was God. Well, there is a remnant that will be saved, as evil has been let in and corrupted what was left by Christ and the Apostles as His church. This apostate church has played a major role in leading people into the false worship of God through icons, statues, crucifixes, relics, Mary, and above all, the exaltation of the man at its head. And it changes the worship of God to abomination by identifying Him with objects, shrines, icons, crucifixes, or statues, which clearly is condemned by the Scripture as idolatry.

I do not believe RCC qualifies. She was never a faithful church to begin with before she fell into apostasy and desolate. God is talking about his faithful church that fell into apostasy and desolate when Satan is loosened. This only takes place AFTER God finish sealing His people (Revelation 14:1-4) and the salvation testimony of Two Witnesses (Elects/church) is finished. Nothing to do with RCC.

Its clear that Satan is bound here on earth with nothing to do as the wicked have been slain at the coming of the Lord, and he has no one to tempt. But now we have to understand what happens after the thousand years as Christ spoke on it and there is much scripture to explain it. Jesus Christ clearly spoke of two resurrections when He said, "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in their graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation" John 5:29.

The apostle Paul also spoke of these two resurrections when he said, "there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust" in Acts 24:15. Thus both Jesus Christ and Paul spoke of two resurrections, the first being the resurrection of life for the just, and the second being the resurrection of damnation for the unjust. We also find it in Daniel, "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. Revelation 20 also speaks of two resurrections. A careful reading of verses 4-6 reveal that one takes place at the beginning of the thousand years, the other at the end. The Word says, "Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years" . Here is a resurrection of the just at the beginning of the 1000 years. This is a good and blessed resurrection. Those in it need not fear the second death, and then you have the wicked. "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years where finished".

Those not in the first resurrection will be raised at the end of the 1000 years in the second resurrection. Again, Paul said this would be a resurrection of "the unjust," (Acts 24:15), while Jesus Christ called it "the resurrection of damnation" (John 5:29).

Purely speculations. The mark of the beast is NOT something physically or technologically advanced that can be put on your right hand or forehead. It is a SPIRITUAL mark. On the right hand signifies doing the will of Satan. On the forehead signifies you have same mind with the devil. The mark has NOTHING to do with buying bread at the store. So TribulationSigns…one of the challenges I have run into concerning the “motb” is that many say it is yet future…not past or present…what say ye? I know it seems obvious...I am just curious.

Very, true. But it seems that most people dont want to hear the truth, they just want to follow the delusions and deceptions. I dont know what can get them to see coherently or clearheaded on this and bring them awake to what the mark is.

Nothing...it is what it is...few and fewer will come to this. The end of the age is not about all out evangelism...no...it is about the maturing of the sons of God.
