A thousand years translates to a millennium.

Scripture teaches that the resurrection and catching up of believers takes place at the "Second Coming" of Jesus Christ

I strongly disagree with the "Mid Trib" rapture you present

I have thought about this some. For me, I can’t speak for others, I don’t know if it’s literal or spiritual. I can see both somewhat and there are many reasons, too many to list in this thread.

But we are to reign with him in his kingdom for 1k years. His kingdom is on earth regardless if someone thinks it is physical or spiritual. And we are to rule with Christ the nations, on this earth, with an iron rod. Both spiritual and it has a literal application.

But I see it more spiritual than all physical. Christ will come back and we will see him, but when he left, he was only seen by those that followed him. It’s possible no one will see him except those that truly believe.

This is not case closed for me. There can always be more to study on a subject.

How is it that you do not understand that Luke 21:28 (And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.) is for the Jews that will be on the earth during the 70th week of Daniel.

I see. So you think Daniel’s 70 weeks lasted beyond Christ death for another almost 2k years. How many years does Revelation describe because I’m only aware of 3.5

Are you saying you believe that Jesus gave the discourse recorded in Matthew 24 on a completely different day than He gave the discourse recorded in Luke 21? What evidence do you have to back that up? That would mean the disciples on two separate occasions marveled at the temple buildings and then asked Him when they would be destroyed. How can that be? In case you're not understanding what I'm saying, let me illustrate.

Matthew 24:1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” 3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Luke 21:5 Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said, 6 “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.” 7 “Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?” 8 He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. 9 When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. The similarities between these passages are undeniable. You think that on two separate occasions, the disciples marveled at the temple buildings with Jesus then telling them that they would be destroyed? How can that be? Surely, they would not have forgotten that He had already told them the temple buildings would be destroyed, so He wouldn't need to tell them that again. There's no question that Matthew 24:1-2 and Luke 21:5-6 are speaking of the same thing. And then in each case it has the disciples asking Jesus when that would happen (the temple buildings being destroyed) with Matthew adding another question about His coming and the end of the age. Matthew probably wanted to make it clear that Jesus talked about two different events in His discourse, so that's why He separated and worded the questions the way he did. And in each passage Jesus proceeds to tell them to watch out that they are not deceived and they would hear of wars and rumors of wars and such, but that these things would not mean that the end of the age was near.

With all of that in mind, how can you possibly think that Matthew 24 and Luke 21 are not the same discourse? They clearly are the same. They did not ask Jesus when the temple buildings would be destroyed on two separate occasions and Jesus did not tell them to watch out to not be deceived while saying there would be wars and rumors of wars on two separate occasions. Luke worded some things differently only because his primary audience was Gentiles. That's why he spelled things out to them in Luke 21:20 while Matthew, whose primary audience was Jews, told them to reference the prophecy that Daniel wrote about in order to understand when they should flee, which the Gentiles Luke was writing to would have known nothing about. So, for Luke to reference the abomination of desolation prophesied by Daniel and to say "let the reader understand" to the Gentiles would have made no sense.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Reading over what I said and your answer I see that I am not making the correct statement. I shouldn't be saying that it is not the same discourse. What I'm trying to say is that we really need to pay attention to what is being said to really understand Matthew 24 and Luke 21. I'll repost the Matthew and Luke verses that you posted.

So as you have excellently pointed out with the colors, these are the exact same events being discussed. If we keep reading, we will see where there is an odd turn. After listing the events of the four horsemen of the apocalypse which are the beginning of sorrows here is what Matthew says next.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

When we continue in Luke 21 after the four horsemen of the apocalypse Luke says something different.

Matthew 24 talks of a future event as it says THEN after the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24 is talking end times in Jerusalem when the abomination of desolation is set up. Whereas Luke 21 says BUT BEFORE ALL THESE. Luke 21 is talking about Jerusalem in 70 AD.

These are important differences that need to be understood.
