Many believe that they have been born again when they haven't. They are counterfeit Christians. They appear to be believers, but they are not. The condition for receiving the Holy Spirit is that God must see you as perfect and complete "In Christ". The belief that you are perfect and complete "In Christ" Colossians 2:10, is to believe the Gospel. Not many believe the Gospel, which means that they have not been born again.

Most of the holiness religions do not believe the Gospel because they are trying to save themselves by the works of the law (what they do). We are not saved by what we do, we are saved by what Jesus Christ has done in our name and on our behalf.

Paul said to the Galatians, "Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law (Because you did something) or by the hearing of faith (hearing and believing the Gospel) Galatians 3:2.

On the day of Pentecost 8,000 Jews heard Peter's Gospel and were born again, Acts 2:41 also Acts 4:4. It was the preaching of the Gospel that caused 8,000 Jews to hear and believe the Gospel and to be born again by the Holy Spirit. It was the Gospel that gave birth to the New Testament church. They heard, they believed and they were born again.

Paul said, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (which is the Gospel) Romans 10:17. There are multitudes that believe they were born again when they were baptized. Baptism is something that we do, it is a work of the law. Those that believe they were saved and born again by baptism do not believe the Gospel.

The order of salvation is that we have faith in Christ and his Gospel, this brings the baptism of the Holy Spirit. What follows after we have received the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with our salvation. Ephesians 1:13. We are made new creations in Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Define salvation
Salvation is when Jesus in our name and on our behalf, fulfilled the law and then abolished it, Romans 10:4 and Ephesians 2:15.

Salvation is when Jesus in our name and on our behalf, atoned for our sins and the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2.

We are complete in him, Colossians 2:10. Do you believe?

What is the difference between salvation and sanctification?

What is the difference between salvation and sanctification?
SALVATION: God's work for us in Jesus Christ.

SANCTIFICATION: God's work in us by the Holy Spirit.

It is heresy to confuse these two separate works. The Bible does not do it, neither should we.

What gospel are you talking about that NO ONE believes in?

Are you out of your mind?
How can you make such outrageous claims? !!!!!

They're not outrageous claims, they are scriptural. Because you don't believe or understand you are a concern,

Ephesians 1:13-14. What makes you think that you can save your self?

Paul said, "But if our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost in whom the God of this world has blinded the minds of them that believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ should shine unto them" 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.

The God of this world has blinded the minds of those that believe not with religion.

Baptism is something that we do, it is a work of the law.
The law is written out in the OT. Please find the book, chapter and verse that contains baptism as a work of law. You can look all you want but you will not find baptism as a work of the law. Baptism is not a work of the law. Believing is something that we do. It is not a work of the law.

There are over 2,000 laws and rules in the Old Testament that cover every aspect of one's life. Anything that we do is a work of the law. Paul said, "Therefore by the deeds of the law (what we do) there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin" Romans 3:20.
The purpose of the law is to judge and condemn.

That is what you say. That is not what Paul said. The false insertion of (what we do) is strictly your, not Paul's, words. Jesus said believing is a work (John 6:29). Paul certainly would not exclude believing as a condition for salvation. So obviously the work that Paul is speaking of is not the same as the work Jesus is speaking of. And clearly believing is something that we do.

So you are not saved by believing? Interesting! So, what is the difference between you and someone not saved?

Where did I say that we are not saved by believing? The difference between someone that is saved and someone that is not saved is that the saved are indwelt with the Holy Spirit.

Believing is something you do, which according to you is a work. So then you have been saved by works. Where did I go wrong with that?

Yes, we are saved by works, Jesus's work. Jesus is the one that fulfilled God's law. Jesus is the one that atoned for the sins of the whole world.

Your believing is your work. You are saved by your believing; therefore you are saved by your works. But Paul said that we are not saved by works. Clearly there is a distinction between the works that Paul was talking about and your work of believing. You need to understand that difference. So many don't.

Our "works" are the fruit which we produce as we walk hand in hand with Christ. It is by our produced fruits that we will be deemed righteous or not. It is not always as clear cut as you are making out. Whether or not our fruit/works are acceptable only depends on our hearts condition when we engage in doing them. The Goats were deemed unrighteous because they only did the required works if there was an outcome acceptable to them, whereas the Sheep were not focused on the final outcome but only in blessing the people they blessed in their Kingdom work.

Believing is what makes the Gospel ours, but that is not what saves us. What saves us is the doing and the dying of Jesus.
