Yeah, you misunderstood. I was saying the opposite. I said the created world is "finite." It is not that the created world does not have purpose, but it's purpose comes to and end.
here again you conflate Erets and Kosmou, at least to a reader.
i know this seems like a small distinction, but after all you cannot Quote God ever creating the world at all, i don't think?

Bible Search: God created the world

please pick your v or vv, and let's take a look, shall we
spoiler; God did not create the world, the world is what is passing away
the world is how we get bad translations, wadr :)

ah, some more in here, in the interests of full disclosure, see Rev 17, you might have a shot, at first glance anyway, also Proverbs 8
Bible Search: created world
spoiler; God created the world, after all! lol
but imo this should be understood in the context of "God created evil," too
obviously God created everything, on a certain level

but to conflate this with the end of the world is to deny "on earth, as it is in heaven," which we have yet to witness, right
No. I am not mixing the two.

As for "on earth, as it is in heaven", if you have not witnessed it, you have not seen what has been at hand since the time of Christ. But I, and many have witnessed it.

No, I am not mixing the two. But "world" is still a word, and it fits my comment pertaining to the "realm" of the earth, which is why I used it. It is also probably why you are making issue of it...because the same use of language has eluded you into believing they are different, when the only difference is that the world is the world, and the earth is the manifestation of the world - both of which come to an end.

Um, the gospel of Jesus Christ couldn't be presented until AFTER Christ rose again. The gospel is found in the 2nd chapter of Acts (2:36-40).

where in acts 2 does it say the teachings of Jesus have changed?

ya, kinda weird in that context, huh. I guess we perceive Israel at the time as being maybe insular and highly clannish, when nothing could be further from the truth, apparently; Israel was an international crossroads, and far from their dogma being singular or peculiar, it is unashamedly an amalgam of many belief systems, and not some, but literally all, every concept in Israel's belief system was borrowed from neighbors, we even got refs to the surrounding gods, OT and NT, for days, Sheol, Hades, Abaddon, Apollyon, these are all extra-Hebrew deities. In the Bible.

the nations were always welcome to worship in the Jewish faith, but for some reason we are taught today to believe nations were never accepted until Jesus came. how many times does the Father call Israel a nation of priest, priest to who? themselves, that would make little sense.

there are 4 for a reason, though, a symbolic reason. Not saying that Thomas doesn't have some good reflections in it tho

there were several other gospels in the early days, Thomas, the 12, Mary, Peter and a few more. they were known and accepted by many, it was not until rome merged with the faith that people began to have problems with them.

what i mean to say there is that the vv have been effectively appropriated out of all meaning
each one of the terms is now pretty rigidly defined etc

um, wait, i thought Jesus was God already; why would He need God to make Him God again?
Lord of your life. Until you repent of being your own lord or of having the devil as lord, you aren't making Him Lord. So just call on His name, repent of sin, and contritely (Psa 34:18) ask Him to save you. :)

you might illuminate how the Good Samaritan was able to avoid all this and yet still be considered accepted
Sure. The Samaritan was "under" the everlasting gospel which appeals to the flesh of men (we know of God through what we see in creation). It is for those outside of the faith of God (Judaisn at the time) and says that anyone who acknowledges God, worships and glorifies Him is acceptable before God when he prays. His deeds are also acceptable. Another good example is Cornelius, Acts 10; or Job, Job 1.

History is broken down into 3 gospels coinciding with 3 levels of the knowledge of God. 1) The everlasting gospel appeals to, reveals God to, the flesh of man. And this would have been especially necessary from Adam to Christ to those who have never heard. 2) The gospel of the kingdom which appeals to the mind or spirit of man in which promises were made even though the Sacrifice pertaining to those promises had not yet happened. 3) The gospel of Jesus Christ which appeals to the heart or soul to commit the believer's life to the Savior and making Him Lord of one's life and eternal future through repentance, dethroning self and enthroning Christ.

believe this or not, there could only be 4 Gospels in the official Bible because of the mythological symbology of the number 4, not bc any others were not inspired, necessarily

Well, there are 3 biblical gospels. 1) The everlasting gospel (Ro 1:18-20, Rev 14:6-7), 2) the gospel of the kingdom (Mt 24:14 — of Messiah's coming), and the gospel of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:36-40).

However, at this current time, there is also (in addition to the gospel of Jesus Christ), the gospel of the doctrines of grace (Eph 1:4-13, 2:8-10, Ro 8:29-30, etc.). It basically says that if you believe the gospel, then you are "elect unto salvation" and that God has given you faith, repentance, forgiveness of sin, the Holy Spirit, etc. monergisticly — "salvation is all of God." No human is response necessary nor sufficient.

They're all... the SAME Gospel of Jesus Christ. And Apostle Paul preached all of those points:

gospel of Grace, gospel of the kingdom, gospel of God, gospel of peace, gospel of Christ, gospel of the circumcision, gospel of the uncircumcision, gospel of your salvation, gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, gospel of the blessed God, gospel of the kingdom of God, gospel of the grace of God -- these KJV phrases are all... the SAME GOSPEL.

I'm surprised what this is about hasn't been caught yet here on this thread. It's about Dispensationalism's dual gospel theory that has developed over time into more and more ludicrous doctrines:

Are There Different Gospels for Different People?

In essence, its Dispensationalist design came from John Darby who's belief on a secret pre-trib rapture divided a Gentile Church raptured to heaven during the tribulation while the Israelite Church stayed on earth to suffer through the tribulation, and also with the Israelite kingdom restored on earth after Christ's return with Christ's rapture Church still in heaven reigning for the 1,000 years.

Thus the Dual-Gospel theory was part of that design to fit those falsely theorized events that Dispensationalists came up with to try and give power to their pre-trib rapture theory.

Actually, there are a couple that aren't .. the gospel of the circumcision and that of the kingdom. These could not be the gospel of Jesus Christ for He hadn't appeared on the scene yet. Those saved under these will be resurrected into His kingdom on earth and come under the gospel of Jesus Christ then.

And if you are saying that they are all the same and that there is no dispensational difference, then you must believe that you are under toe OT gospel and still under the law.

Agree.
There is only ONE "GOOD NEWS"...
Maybe broken down in segments for easier digesting and how to live IN the Good News...but agree...there is not more than one Gospel, one Good News
...Just One Lamb is enough.

Grand error you just made, and no doubt because of the Dual Gospel dreamt-up doctrines of men that created Dispensationalism.

The Gospel in the OT that was preached to Abraham was The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Apostle Paul shows this in Galatians 3 and Romans 4. This is why Paul also said those of Faith have become the children of Abraham.

That proves the Promise by faith first given Abraham 430 years before the law was given has NOTHING to do with the law!!!
