John 1:1,14

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

This subject is a subject we have covered before but so important to our understanding. That is seeing the difference between the scriptures and the word of God. The scriptures of coarse have everything to do with the word of God. The word of God being Jesus Christ himself. The word of God is a person, so if you were to try to interpret the scriptures you should do so based on the word being a person. So as you read along and come to say s certain scripture that may intrigue you, you divide the scripture to see the person in that scripture. It's not that hard when you are looking for life in the scriptures and not trying to prove a certain doctrine or point you may have.

This is a point here that you should keep in mind as you study the scriptures. Not all scriptures speak of the word but all scriptures contain the word. Example; Judas went out and hung himself. That is written truth in the scriptures and contains the word, but it is not speaking of the word as a person.

Look at this scripture:
And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain. - Galatians 2:2

That scripture speaks of the word of God. Revelation and gospel show Christ, it is speaking of the word of God in you to communicate the scriptures as they are given. You do not have to try to interpret the scriptures they are interpreted for you, scripture interprets scripture. What we do is learn to read our Bible as it is intended to be read and understood. Now trying to explain Bible reading is not an easy task especially in a forum with limited space to write, so what you keep in mind is; in all your bible the father is trying to show you his son. Did you catch that, your bible, the scriptures are revealing the son of God to you and speaking by the son now, Hebrews 1:1,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

That is the purpose of the scriptures, the only purpose of the scriptures is to reveal the son. When the son is revealed everything else fits together, it either answer's all the questions you have had, or it makes a situation where it does not matter. Revelation takes care of all matters (no pun intended), it allows you to move on in knowledge and understanding. This message is just an understanding for those that are ready to move on in God.

So what that does is cut through all interpretation of scriptures. You can make the scriptures say anything you want. If you do not see the word of God (God's son Jesus Christ) in the scriptures you missed it. Plain and simple you will be a religious zealot for what you interpret in the scriptures with no understanding of how to read your Bible. You may be the most peaceful person alive and still not know anything,
. The scriptures will interpret themselves always and point the believer to Christ in you the word of God. Learn to read your Bible. The Holyspirit will show you just ask him and wait for him to get the bad habits out and replace them with proper understanding, bless you.

Often the terms Scriptures and Word of God are used interchangeably.
