So you are actually trying to cite that passage from Matthew 24, to claim it means Jesus won’t visibly and bodily return? Seriously?

Because the CONTEXT is Jesus warning that FALSE MESSIAHS will come, but that any messiah who is found anywhere on earth, without being seen COMING OUT OF THE EAST AS LIGHTNING, is a fake messiah!

Mat 24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

You deny His coming in Matthew is visible, YET HE SAYS HIS COMING IS VISIBLE!

Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

In short, your claim is absolutely wrong, and easily disproven by the very scriptures you claim supports your assertion!

Jesus returns visibly and bodily, just as the angels in Luke and Acts said, just as He himself said.

Shalom

Well Curtis, if you look a little closer what appears? The Son of Man or the Sign of the Son of man?

Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

This seems strange!

The prophecy from Jesus is that everyone will see Jesus coming, but you say that no one will?

Much love!

Good to distinguish between His coming in power and glory and judgment (Matthew 24; Luke 21) from the rapture of the church (1 Thess. 4).

The scripture you are quoting is a progressive one that is revealed over time. First, what appears? Then All the tribes of the earth mourn or beat themselves in grief. Why does EVERYONE grieve? Because the sign everyone sees is an unpleasant one. Everyone SEES the sign but don't recognize them.

Jesus eloquently gave a plethora of Signs that made up a Composite Sign that would occur in marking when his second presence would occur. “Furthermore, when you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified. For these things must take place first, but the end will not occur immediately.”

  • Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
  • There will be great earthquakes, and in one place after another food shortages and pestilences;
  • and there will be fearful sights and from heaven great signs.” (Luke 21:9-11)
  • “And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations,
  • and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)

So where are we in the scripture that you quoted? We're at the final part when the Son of Man is to be revealed. The Revelation phase. Remember.... the warning from the Wonderful Counselor?

  • Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ Do Not believe it.
  • So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ Do Not go out.
  • If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ Do Not believe it.

Rather . . .

Jesus gave a prophetic narrative which outlines a number of things that will happen, culminating in His visible physical return. And within which He warns to not be deceived by those who say He came secretly.

You've got a very convoluted post there imo, "progressive", "plethora", "composite", this is actually pretty straightforward.

Our Lord and Savior, our great God Jesus Christ, will return to this earth, and when He does, everyone is going to see it. And don't be fooled by imitations.

Much love!

No man has seen God at ANY time (John 1:18) The truth NEVER changes. Otherwise the scriptures would read something like this.

  • Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is God!’ or ‘There God is!’ Do Not believe it.
  • So, if they say to you, ‘Look, God is in the wilderness,’ Do Not go out.
  • If they say, ‘Look, God is in the inner rooms,’ Do Not believe it.

You continue to not address the central point.

Jesus will return physically, visibly, and everyone will see Him.

Those who claim Jesus returned in secret are refuted by that very same Jesus.

Much love!

= Hubris

You are thinking you know how God would write if He wanted to say something different from what He said, and you use this to refute the plain reading of what He actually DID say.

Things that make you go Hmmmmm.

God is not the Son of man. (Numbers 23:19) Is that Hubris?

The Second Coming of Christ...
View attachment 16099

For almost two thousand years, faithful followers of Jesus Christ have been in anticipation of his Second Coming. We are living at extremely exciting times as our Preaching Work comes to its end! According to Bible Prophecy, an allotment of two days of 2,000 years would need to lapse before the Second Coming is revealed to unbelievers. (Hosea 6:2, 2 Peter 3:8) Oh!! If only the ungodly would stop being stubborn, pay attention, listen, and gain the wisdom of understanding to keep on living into Christ's Millennial Reign... "Do not think I came to bring peace to the earth; I came to bring, not peace, but a sword." (Matthew 10:34)

Even though the Second Coming will be Invisible to the human eye, only faithful followers will perceive when Jesus became King of God's Kingdom. One more 'timed event' or prophecy would be fulfilled prior to the destruction of the wicked. Satan and his earthly kingdoms are entering their final hour since 2015 spewing demonic propaganda that they brought peace and prosperity to the earth by transforming our world by 2030, and the majority of the earth's population will be more than willing to capitulate. "Whenever it is that they are saying, “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly on them, just like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and they will by no means escape." (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

It's imperative to build your faith now because the trigger for the Great Tribulation is an outbreak of peace. When Satan's world promotes that they achieved peace and prosperity in 2030, people will no longer have to follow any rules. Aborting unborn infant lives will become a common place as in offering up children sacrifices to their gods. No need to work. No need to pray. Government is your god in providing your wants and needs. Then comes the enforcement, perhaps a door to door check by a government agency to see if you bent your knee and have proof of your card to buy and sell. As in the Last Days of Noah, there were hybrid humans. Could their be hybrid humans today? It's possible as the Last Days of Satan's Rulership comes to an end, he would possibly be looking for a way to build his army.

Learning these things now can help you prepare for the coming events. It will take faith, but there is hope! Start preparing your heart and mind and apply the counsel from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: "No one can slave for two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other. You cannot slave for God and for Riches. “On this account I say to you: Stop being anxious about your lives as to what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your bodies as to what you will wear. Does not life mean more than food and the body than clothing? Observe intently the birds of heaven; they do not sow seed or reap or gather into storehouses, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth more than they are?" (Matthew 6:24-26)

"So never be anxious and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or, ‘What are we to drink?’ or, ‘What are we to wear?’ For all these are the things the nations are eagerly pursuing. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. “Keep on, then, seeking first the Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added to you." (Matthew 6:31-33)

no .... you people onhere constantly get the concepts wrong ...

you need to learn what they [=concepts] mean ... or you will be in deep deep trouble soon ...

when God [and that's the only thing that matters, right]
uses the term 'peace' in prophets
-- because God only spoke through prophets , right --

he means "people who believe in Christ ,
who believe He will save them from the Revelation events ,
THOSE are the ones who say : "[we will have] peace"

then God says : "but there will-be-no-peace [for them]"

why ?
...because they do not subscribe His version about His reality
- they do not understand what he said about 'searching paradise back'
they do not understand that we got trapped upon this earth
in this hostile body
nor why Christ died [-for us]

believing inChrist
is NOT some monopoly "pass jail card" to escape Revelation

it is horrible... and most believersdo not even sée the problem ...

why would you [-all] fill page after page
with opinions which never understood what God said in prophets ...?

why you [-all] defend yourselves with quotes Christ said ,
while you know very well
that Christ cannot have said anything different as God ..?

God says
understánd the other reality then , please !
because that is where you came from !
listen to what I say about it !
because why would you die ? [=and he means 'during Revelation']

Job 19:23-27 KJV
23) Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
24) That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
25) For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26) And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27) Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

Who is it that Job shall see?

Much love!

Zechariah 14:1-5 KJV
1) Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2) For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3) Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4) And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5) And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Revelation 19:11-16 KJV
11) And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12) His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13) And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14) And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15) And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16) And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Whose feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives?

...He tells about 'our promised land' [=eden]
which has been made desolate by the armies of demons
- He tells that it will not be restored
unless we understand what has happened

yet scores of believers today
only play their egoistical "Christ will save me from revelation" card

- God says :
that will not happen .

12) Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

Who will return?

.... and instead that you AID God ,
because he télls what has happened ,
how - because of the sin of Adam , he tossed away eden ,
but that because of other souls ---- we ----
eden can be RESTORED ,
therefore he cals in prophets constantly ,
"who of you will understand what I say ???"
"who of you will have the courage to understand ?"

it are those
Christ will take when he returns upon the clouds

...this is why most posts onhere
[and on any christian form, for that matter]
are nothing else but little Ego's having glued Christ to her as her defender
= defending the own Ego
