My good friend, Behold.....you left out the Grandaddy Of them ALL! LUCKY REPENTANCE!......it sounds like this, as you know all too well...... “ Sure Jesus Saves......B U T , ya gotta Repent Of all of your known sins before you die”......May God have mercy on that man or woman who bumps their head , let’s out a terrible curse word and suffers a heart-attack before they have the good fortune or “ luck” to repent before they kick the bucket .......They could be as Righteous as John the Baptist , have the patience of Job and the Faith Of Paul— all for naught. It all came down to Repentance and the “ Luck” and the Super Memory to be able to recall all of your sins before you die......The “ Lucky Repentance” crowd has cleverly supplanted God’s Way Of taking care of sins —- GRACE, with Luck and good memory.....they have turned a good thing , the God-Given gift of Repentance to restore a temporary broken Fellowship with God into just another DEAD WORK —- a “ Dead Work” Being ANY human action that one adds to the Blood of Jesus because they think it saves them or Keeps them Saved....

See Galatians 3:10, James 2:10, Matthew 5:48...verses that describe the plight of all those who would seek to be justified by the law / their works / their obedience / their performance.
It goes allllllllllllll the way back to the Story Of Cain and Abel......Had it not been for the story Of Adam and Eve, it would have been the first story in the Bible with a Warning attached.....one had better BELIEVE that God takes this stuff VERY seriously.....the big lesson of this tale is that God demands the Shed Blood Of an Innocent One to do the Will Of The Father.....NOT your Works ..
