Fair enough. Anyway, I corrected the title.

Australian and we use the Queens English.
You like to think that I am reading the story incorrectly as that will substantiate what you are saying. But the fact of the matter is I am a teacher in the body of Christ who has been taught by teachers in the body of Christ of some repute and for 10 years was part of a fellowship where tongues as a prayer language was practiced and languages as in not knowing the language you are speaking and needing interpretation was par for the course.
But I do realise that some people do have a problem with acknowledging the gift of teaching as they have to admit that person knows more than they do. I prefer to stick mainly with the Greek as that is the most accurate of interpretations. As in all my studies, I start with the word and then branch out with what others have written. In my study of this subject, I have read over 50 books. So I do think I know what I am talking about. Plus I am not a woman trying to teach men which as you know is forbidden in scripture. If you don't you should.
Did the disciples speak in unlearned languages so that the crowd could hear the message in their own tongues OR did they speak in Aramaic and the Spirit translated it into the tongues of those who were listening?
1 Corinthians 14:22-25 J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS)
22-25 That means that tongues are a sign of God’s power, not for those who are unbelievers, but to those who already believe. Preaching the word of God, on the other hand, is a sign of God’s power to those who do not believe rather than to believers. So that, if at a full church meeting you are all speaking with tongues and men come in who are both uninstructed and without faith, will they not say that you are insane? But if you are preaching God’s word and such a man should come in to your meeting, he is convicted and challenged by your united speaking of the truth. His secrets are exposed and he will fall on his knees acknowledging God and saying that God is truly among you!
Evidence, please. And what does ROFL mean?ROFL
Neither!
ROFL I have the office of teacher also. And I haven't read books on the subject, I wrote a book on the subject.
As for Paul on women teachers, that has been incorrectly taught for centuries. If you really are a teacher appointed by Jesus, and not just self taught or by man, but Holy Spirit taught, then you would know the truth of the matter. But if Jesus did appoint you, then just ask Him the truth, for there is only one truth for every verse in the Bible. When I asked Him, I got an answer immediately, and was astonished at what He said. And now that I know I am not in error, I will go on teaching.
Our prayer language does not need interpretation. We can pray all by ourselves.
Evidence, please. And what does ROFL mean?
I was appointed by God through prophecy...four times.
Your response clearly shows you are not a teacher.
If you were a teacher appointed by God you would know the answer to your question.Show me in Mark 16:16-18 where interpretation is included as part of the sign of speaking in tongues. Wouldn't it be there if it was necessary for our prayer language? Remember these signs are for all who believe, individually. These are for our personal use when alone. Or didn't you know that?
Whereas 1 Corinthians 12 are for the church service, and for the profit of all. That is why interpretation is included here.
I went to a meeting with a visiting prophet from New Zealand. When he finished preaching he started prophesying over people. I was one of them and he prophesied I would be given a prophetic teaching ministry.Tell me about these prophecies. Who received the prophecy?
If you were a teacher appointed by God you would know the answer to your question.
I went to a meeting with a visiting prophet from New Zealand. When he finished preaching he started prophesying over people. I was one of them and he prophesied I would be given a prophetic teaching ministry.
A few weeks later, I was at another meeting at another church in another place. Once again I received a prophecy from someone I did not know and who did not know me the same as the first one.
Next week I went to another meeting in another place and again I was prophesied over by a person who did not know me and he prophesied the same thing as the previous two.
Finally, I went to a meeting for men and we were told to reach out and prophesy over others in the meeting. One man who was in front of me turned around and said he had a prophecy for me. It was the same prophecy as I had the first three times.
On each occasion, no one knew me who prophesied over me. None of the people who prophesied knew each other. And in each case, it was in a different location. In total, I have four prophecies that all confirmed one another. Whilst all this was going on, I had not thought about being a prophetic teacher so it all came out of the blue and was a surprise. Since this happened my ability to discern the word of God and teach it has risen dramatically. So the proof of the pudding was in the eating.
One of the outcomes was a two-year study of the New Testament Church life which incorporated reading over 60 books on the subject for a Ph.D.
It is unusual that none of them were confirming what God was already telling you. It doesn't seem you knew from God anything about it. What is not unusual when put on the spot are the same 'words from the Lord' telling a person the highest honor is being given them, flattery. And in our circle, that would be "prophetic teacher." That is merely human nature. Reincarnationists tell people that in another life they were the Queen of Sheba.
I'll be interested to see in the future if you make any more human errors, or if you actually know what only God could have revealed to you.
If you are a teacher in the body of Christ then I am father Christmas. That comment is so self-serving, even the King of Siam could not invent it.
Apart from the fact that your comment is so silly and inconsequential. Please don't judge me by your weird standards as God deals with us individually and deals with us how he sees fit, not how you see fit.
As for "highest honour" that is so silly it is beyond laughing although I am tempted to.
And as for the Queens of Sheba bit, what a preposterous statement. It makes a mockery of the power of the Holy Spirit to tell the truth.
All in all, your post was a pathetic attempt to sound intelligent and spiritual when all you have done is condemn yourself from your own mouth.
Now, unless you have something intelligent or positive to say, have a nice day.
P.S. I am not a member of "your circle" thank God. I am a member of God's circle.
I have no doubt that we are in the same circle; you just have a lot to learn.
I will have a lot to learn until the day I die or get caught up into heaven. I guess that is why God decided to anoint me with the gift of teaching because I love learning and no matter how much I know there is still more to learn. Probably why I have over 1,000 books in my personal library and times when I read a book a week and sometimes when I read two or three and times when I reference several at a time when I am studying a particular topic. Add to that all the teaching magazines that I subscribe to and the teaching websites on the internet and the daily emails I get from other teachers in the body of Christ who acknowledge that I have been anointed to teach. And that is all before breakfast. After breakfast I.....
Oh, and I don't consider myself superior to others and I know more than they do with comments like you have a lot to learn.
See, we have a lot more in common that you think. You sound like me and my library and studies. We could both be teachers. I know I am, because God spoke to me and told me He was giving me the office of teacher. The next day, Dr. Jack Hayford anointed me with oil for that office.
We have nothing in common. I follow scripture you don't. And God does not tell you something that is contrary to his word so you didn't hear from him. You heard what you wanted to hear. But what is new as that happens all the time that is why pulpits all over the world are filled with men who thought they heard from God but what they heard was their rejection telling them what they wanted to hear.
The only teaching you are authorised to do is the same as what my wife is authorised to do. Teach women which is what the scripture says you can do. And I would want more than one person to confirm the truth before I acted on it. Jack Hayford has no more anointing than the next man who is following the leading of the Spirit.
I don't know if I was supposed to go all gaga because it was Jack Hayford but I am not impressed with names and talking of names, you didn't answer my question about David Koresh.
