Well Jody we have two choices either believe Cain married his sister and God really didnt mean it when he said incest was a sin. That its ok to commit pagon sins sometimes. or We can believe that it is as 2nd Peter tells us that each creation day was 1000 years long and in 2 Peter 3:8Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." (does it say live in a garden?) Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God restedFast forward a few thousand years man has been wondering the earth for a couple thousand years what kind of man? perhaps what we may consider a cave man (not any half monkey evolutionary creature) but a real man(earlyman) but he has no spirit of God breathed into him he is simple a physical type of man. Gen 2: 6 but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground- the LORD God formed The man The Hebrew for man (adam) sounds like and may be related to the Hebrew for ground (adamah) it is also the name Adam (see Gen. 2:20). from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. First we hear of Adam the Hebrew is very specific that this is "THE MAN" a different type man with the breath(spirit of God breathed into him)then God goes on to tell us how he created a Garden for this man to live in. Could it be that this was a speacial line of Man.? That ADAM was created separate a speacial line to bring Christ through ?and that Cain married one of the earlier creations.
Ill stick with my above sceniro for I choose to believe the Hebrew lanuage rather than men. And,yes God has asked men to do things but after the fall after Satan and sin came into the world because he had a plan to forgive them. But you are asking we believe that God did not create the world perfect.
