What is happening to the "darkness" that came over the world in about 2010? It seems to be weakening?

Hi there,

So I know I'm not imagining it, because there was an illustration of it in the newspaper - the whole world went into a period of darkness, around 2010 (I vaguely remember) and it just seemed to stay with people on Earth for years. I know people of other times have experienced darkness (in space), like in the 1800s I think - but it just faded from memory. Biblically, Egypt was covered in darkness, when God judged them for keeping Israelites slaves, and that was forgotten by the time that the Jews left Egypt. I myself have prayed to God that the darkness weaken; perhaps the power of prayer is gradually having an effect! I guess what I am writing this for, is just to see if people understand the darkness the way I do, that it is some kind of spiritual state, that vexes the soul - when there should be a relationship to God.

IDK what do you think?

Let's pray that God send the darkness packing!

I wish you could recall that 2010 newspaper report.

The world did go dark back in 536A.D.

Today, I don't see the darkness as fading but as growing exponentially.

When I was in my late 20's and to date I'd encounter senior citizens who would chat me up about contemporary politics.

I recall all of those talks included the elderly back then stating they were glad they were near the end. Because they didn't want to witness what's coming.

Those earlier years folks are all dead now. However, the seniors today say the same thing.

I want to live to be 100. Because as an eternal optimist I want to see it turn around.

I want to live to see the majority of people currently suffering the ever growing spread of darkness stand up and take our country back. And then in a domino effect, people in all other lands follow suit.

Read 2 Chronicles 7:12ff. Perhaps you will understand how "Christians" can cause the world to be healed. We only have to realise that we have turned away from God and therefore we need to repent. Sadly, many do not want to acknowledge what they have done.
