Fred, were you baptized specifically in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins in 2006? That is what I’m trying to find out. Or did they say father son and Holy Ghost?
Apparently i disagree with you, your carnal adult mystic doctrine, and you questions, sounds like from a retard.

i've already posted clearly how we baptize, and the same way i was baptized, and is sufficient by faith and not by sight, we live.

There is a Trinity ban on this forum? That’s interesting. Can somebody explain that to me please? I am not Trinitarian, but that’s the first forum I’ve heard of that banned Trinity.
The ban reduces the inevitable Trinitarian arguments that bring forums down.
Other forums have regulated how the subject of the Trinity can be discussed. If a site affirms belief in the Trinity in its Statement of Faith those who are non-Trinitarian should respect that when joining and not stir up conflict with contrary arguments which never get resolved.

Red Flag, there's no verse to support that,

“THAT”. Repeated……”Jesus who was sent forth out of Gods Mouth”…

Isa 55:
[11] So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Luke 1:
[35] And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

John 1:
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 16:
[27] For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
[28] I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

but probably the one that is irrelevant,

The RED FLAG waves as notice against you, for your own ignorance of scripture and implication it is irrelevant for you to discover.

Glory to God,
Taken

I guess I’m going to have to take your answer as a “no, I have not been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of my sins“. Well, you need to do it, Fred.

Thank you for clarifying. It seems like a good position to have a forum that is neutral and does not promote a particular brand.

His NAME/Character is Yeshua and He IS/HAYA Yeshua

The name "Jesus" (Greek: Ἰησοῦς, Iēsous; Hebrew: יֵשׁוּעַ, Yeshua) means "Yahweh saves" or "Yahweh is salvation." This name was given by divine instruction (Matthew 1:21), emphasizing His role in salvation.
Biblical References:

Matthew 1:21 (ESV): "She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."
Philippians 2:10 (ESV): "So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth."
The Identity of Jesus
Son of God:

Jesus is frequently referred to as the Son of God, highlighting His unique divine sonship and relationship with God the Father.
Matthew 3:17 (ESV): "And behold, a voice from heaven said, 'This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.'"
Messiah (Christ):

Jesus is acknowledged as the Messiah (the Anointed One), fulfilling Old Testament prophecies.
John 1:41 (ESV): "He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, 'We have found the Messiah' (which means Christ)."
Savior:

Jesus is recognized as the Savior who redeems humanity from sin.
Luke 2:11 (ESV): "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."
Lord:

Jesus is also called Lord, denoting His authority and divinity.
Romans 10:9 (ESV): "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Relationship Between Name and Identity
The Name Represents His Mission: The name "Jesus" encapsulates His mission of salvation. It is not merely a label but a declaration of His purpose and divine role.
The Identity Defines His Nature: Who Jesus is encompasses His divine and human natures, His fulfillment of prophecy, His redemptive work, and His eternal lordship. His identity includes His titles (Son of God, Messiah, Savior, Lord) and His works.
Ummmm, can you show me where the Bible names “Jesus, Sr.” and “Jesus, Jr.”??

I didn’t think so . . .

If you know, the name of the son is Jesus, why don’t you baptize in the name of Jesus? You baptize under an assumption that the son has a name.
We DO Baptize "in the name of Jesus" because we Baptize by HIS authoritative instructions in Matt. 28:19.
YOU
need to obey your
master, repent and stop living in rebellion against Him . . .

"In the name of Jesus" is His Authority . . .

If catholics really believed that, they would not be trying to contact the dead to get them to pray for them

Jesus said to pray directly to the Father (God, not your pope or to a priest) in Jesus Name.

All prayer that is not according to the instructions Jesus gives is ignored by God... but satan sure like to play with these people since they are actually praying to demons when they try to contact the dead in prayer (necromancy - praying to those that have passed from this world)

It's always funny to hear catholics try to justify their false doctrines in spite of their doctrines not being found in God's Word. laughing.gif

Well, you need to do it, Fred.

Yep! If one is being obedient to the Word of the Lord they will be water baptized after getting born again.

Those that think what the Lord says can be ignored wouldn't along with ignoring other things the Lord says in His Word.

Fact is you do not baptize in the name of Jesus. You baptize in his titles. You baptize infants, so therefore there is no need to repent. Everything about your religion is wacky. It’s like the twilight zone of Christianity. Oh boy.

The name of the Son IS Jesus.

Great, so now you say, the name of the son is Jesus. Now, is the name of the son per Matthew 28:19 Jesus(specifically)?

Or is the name of the son, son per the verse?

According to the verse, does “Jesus” turn back to “son”?

Soooo, asking a fellow member of the Body of Christ to pray for you is “wrong”??

Can you show me where the BIBLE says this?
Chapter and Verse, please . . .

While you’re at it – produce the Scriptural evidence that shows that those in Heaven were kicked out of the Body of Christ . . .

All prayer that is not according to the instructions Jesus gives is ignored by God... but satan sure like to play with these people since they are actually praying to demons when they try to contact the dead in prayer (necromancy - praying to those that have passed from this world)

You’ve already given me over a DOZEN verses that DON’T mention them.

Getting water baptized after you’re born again means you’re buried alive.

You’re not born again, unless you have been buried first. That’s common sense. You have to be baptized or buried in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins. We bury our sins this way….

Soooo, according to YOU - the following verse is "invalid" because Jesus is NOT mentioned by name . . .
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only SON, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Do YOU believe in the Son?? How can you have faith in a title??
Do you now realize how stupid you sound?

You have to be baptized or buried in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins.

One gets born again first... THEN gets water baptized as we see in the New Testament.

Getting dunked in the water is not when one gets born again of the spirit... it's when their flesh is cleansed not their spirit.

The Blood of Jesus is what washes out sin away, not water.

But, getting baptized is what the Lord said to do so disobedience is not the path take.

Some just have the cart before the horse falsely claiming one is born again when they are baptized.

One cannot be baptized until AFTER they have been born again as we see in scripture.

I've talked to some church of christ peoples who claim that if someone gets born again and die in an accident on the way to getting water baptized, they go to hell which is ignorance gone to seed.

These same people claim Jesus lied when He told the thief on the Cross He would be saved even though the thief on the Cross had no opportunity to get baptized after believing on the Lord.

Yeah so where did Jesus instruct His followers to get in touch with His momma and see if she'll put in a good word for them?

What chapter and verse can we find this? clueless-scratching.gif
