Well I believe in the Trinity but I also know Mary did not give birth to God but to a man who is the Son of God.No - Mary gave birth to GOD.
This is the problem woith you Trinity-haters. Since you refuse to accept that although the Godhead has Three distintc Persons with Three distingt ROLES - you get ALL confused with the specifics of each role.
Phil. 2:5-11 is aboutthe MAN, Jesus. Jesus sometimes refers to Himself as the "Son of Man" when speaking to His disciples.
He ALSO reveals that He is GOD (Matt. 4:7, John 1:1, John 8:58, John 10:30) - as do others (John 20:28).
YOUR problem - and there are MANY - is that you cherry-pick the Scripture and invent new little "doctrines" around those isolated verses instead of reading them in CONTEXT with the rest of Scripture.
That's like paying Russian roulette with a loaded gun . . .
I also know that it's unfair to Mary's memory to be arguing and fighting about her and about how much she should and shouldn't be exalted.
Poor Mary. I'm sure she'd be turning in her grave if she knew how much arguing would be going on about her memory and whether or not she gave birth to God or to a baby boy who is the man, the last Adam and the Son of God who represents man (the Son of man because He set aside His Godly status for a time in order to take on human flesh in order to die for the sins of Adam and his children, and rose again from the dead).
You should leave the poor woman alone. You don't show much respect for her memory at all by arguing about her the way you do.
