Reader..

"Hell was created for the devil and his angels"... before Adam was created.

People often accuse God of "sending people to Hell", but that is not the correct understanding.. The correct understanding is that God offers to accept your Faith in Christ as the "WAY" to be reconciled to God,...JOHN 14:6... John 3:16.... and if a person wont have it and they die, then they end up where those who are never born again, (Christ rejectors) all end up.

Reader, Christ rejectors, never born again, are not a part of the Body of Christ//The Eternal Family of God , so.. God is not going to put the Christ Rejectors, never born agian....in the same eternal place ... with those who Trusted in Christ, and are born again.
So...They ALL have to go somewhere.

So, why HELL?

Because Hell was created for the Devil and His Angels.. ., and Heaven is not that Place.

Let me show you what your Pastor, Pope, Bishop, is not explaining to you. that you need to understand.

Listen..

There are 2 Spiritual Fathers..

1.) Almighty God, the Father of Jesus.

2.) The God of this world....... The Devil.

Jesus said of ALL UNBELIEVERS......"You are of YOUR Father, the devil"... and so, if that never changes... if you are never born again by a NEW Spiritual Father, and you die.... then you end up with the Devil, and Hell was created for Him, and so there you will Go to be with your Spiritual Father.

Whereas,
... if you are born again by another Spiritual Father, Almighty GOD... who is the Father of Jesus.. The Father of the born again, ...then when you die, you end up with HIM, and HE is in Heaven, and there you will go to be with Your Heavenly Father.
In Fact if you are born again, you are already "seated in heavenly places, in Christ"... as "one with God".. right now.

Reader...

If you are thinking that you should trust in Christ and you never have, but have been waiting...........then find a bible or go online, and read this verse.
Hebrews 9:27,
and do not wait any more, as that appointment is coming for YOU, and you do not know when.
Maybe it will be today. So, do not wait .. Trust in Christ , NOW... Open your heart to Jesus... Trust Him as your Savior the best way you know how with your heart, and God will take you.
See, if you take Jesus, then God will take you......
Get your eternity settled right now... and then you can rest assured from now on... that after you die, you will meet God as your FATHER and not as your Eternal JUDGE.
= dont wait.

You bet…..fear is the most useful weapon in Satan’s arsenal…..the RCC was simply the first to implement it and use it as a control tactic for Christians…..the concept already existed in pagan beliefs……people even today are scared to death of “hell”….yet the hell of the Bible (Sheol/hades) is a place where we all go when we die. (Eccl 9:5, 10) it’s not hot, and it does not contain conscious “souls”…..it is a place of rest, where the dead “sleep” awaiting their resurrection….it is simply the common grave…nothing more sinister than a common receptacle where human remains “return to dust”. (Gen 3:19) Death is the opposite of life, not a continuation of it…..that was Satan’s first lie. “You surely will not die”.

There is no immortal soul to go anywhere at death. Jesus promises to call all the dead from their graves (John 5:28-29)…..some to a “heavenly calling” (a chosen few. Heb 3:1) but the majority to a restoration of life here on a cleansed earth, taken back to the paradise conditions that mankind were originally meant to enjoy and to spread over the whole world. (Gen 1:26-28) There was no ‘natural’ cause of death in Eden…..death was only a penalty for disobedience. Everlasting life (not immortality) was to be lived in the flesh, with the means to extend their lives eternally, (the tree of life) provided for them. Only when sin entered their lives was access to “the tree of life” denied. (Gen 3:22-24)

The figurative use of “Gehenna”, mistranslated as “hell” in many Bibles, was an illustration of eternal death as opposed to eternal suffering. Jesus’ Jewish audience understood that his reference was not literal.
The RCC picked it up and ran with it….
Convert or burn at the Pyre.
Love our God or burn for eternity.
Who could love a fiend who enjoys torturing souls forever in agony? What purpose is achieved by any punishment if there is no way to repent and be forgiven? Punishment for its own sake achieves nothing good. Death is the only punishment that God administered. No punishment under God‘s law ever required torture. Death to God is reversible.….it’s what the resurrection is all about. “The resurrection on the last day” is what Lazarus’ sister expressed as her hope for her dead brother. (John 11: 5-44) She knew that he was still in his tomb.
Hmmmm,decisions decisions.

Fear made the decision, not God’s word. Christendom’s “hell” does not exist in the Bible.
This engendered ‘fear of death’ (evident in all false religion) has held the human race in mental slavery to all manner of superstitions and omens, and needs exposing for what it is.….a way to control members and to ensure compliance.

The Bible speaks of “all those who for fear of death were subject to slavery all through their lives.” (Hebrews 2:15) These ‘slaves’ cannot see their shackles.
It is refreshing to see a clergyman express such honest views of a church system of which he is apparently, still a part, judging by his attire. Did he have to wait till retirement to express them? What church would accept him and his views I wonder?

We are told in Revelation 18:4-5 to “get out of“ “Babylon the Great”…..if we do not want to “share in her sins and receive part of her plagues”. The grossness of her lying deceit has taken the human race off on so many tangents religiously speaking….filling the world with false worship of every description, masking the truth with lies and gaining converts either by birth, or by fear or deception.

The religion that Christ’s true disciples promote is nothing like that which is promoted in Christendom.
The religions that are sown by the devil have many things in common, including the counterfeit “Christianity” that Jesus spoke about In his parable of the wheat and the weeds. (Matt 13:24-30; 36-42)
They all believe in a multiplicity of gods……when the God that Jesus spoke about was “one Yahweh” (Deut 6:4) This was the same entity he called “my God” even after his return to heaven. (Rev 3:12)

They all believe in an afterlife requiring an immortal soul, that upon death, gains access to a either blissful life in heaven….or a dreadful eternity of torture in a fiery hell. Jesus did not teach anything like that.
The God he served, was the epitome of love, compassion and forgiveness. This, at a time when Israel was still under gentile domination and subject to the Roman Empire, and had completely lost its way. Jesus castigated the religious leaders at every opportunity….(Matt 23)…..and taught the “lost sheep” that God wanted to save them from these false shepherds….and usher them into new pasture grounds where they would grow and thrive. Yet only a “remnant” of natural Israel responded to his teachings (Rom 9:27-28)….the rest stayed with their comfortable old ways and after many had condoned the death of their own Messiah, they suffered rejection. (Matt 23:37-39) That nation suffered rejection, but individuals could still come to Christ, which many did, responding to the teachings of the apostles. (Acts 2:29-38)

Those who promote that fiendish god who takes pleasure in eternal punishment, demonstrate that they do not know him….and are therefor not known BY him. (Matt 7:21-23)

Jack your replies are nothing more than a child-like regurgitation of what you have been told is the truth......
There is no truth in what you speak, because you are not a student of God’s word......you are a puppet for the great puppet master.....Jesus will have to demonstrate that to you since you cannot see that your beliefs do not come from the Bible at all. If you really studied God’s word you would see the constant contradictions in Christendom’s doctrines......but your “blindness” won’t let you. (2 Cor 4:3-4)
Psalm 111:10
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
So, what is “the fear of the Lord”.....and what “Lord” is mentioned here?
Have you actually read Psalm 110 before it? What do you make of the first 2 verses?

This is Psalm 110:1-2, taken from the Jewish Tanakh....

The word of the Lord to my master; "Wait for My right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool at your feet."
2 The staff of your might the Lord will send from Zion; rule in the midst of your enemies.

David’s “Lord” here is Yahweh/Jehovah (יְהֹוָ֨ה)....and his “master” is prophetically, the future Lord Jesus Christ. (Not yet born)
The one who gives his master power is Yahweh/Jehovah....and after Jesus completed his mission and returned to heaven, he was to “wait” until his enemies were placed as a stool for his feet......then he was to “rule in the midst of his enemies”.

How do you understand David’s words Jack? Since it is very obvious that you are not a student of the Bible, but simply a parrot for Christendom’s beliefs......how much do you actually know? By what you post, it appears as if you know very little, and it doesn’t seem to bother you that you cannot substantiate a thing you say. Even the scriptures you post are done without knowledge of what they are saying in context with the whole Bible......it is one book, with one author, and one story....but you don’t seem to have a clue as to what the story is or what it means.

What is the “fear of the Lord” then? Is it a morbid fear of roasting in a fiery hell for all eternity? Is that the fear we should have? Or does it mean something else entirely?

The word in Hebrew is “yir'â” and if you look up other verses where this word is used you will see that it doesn’t mean fearing God in a bad way, dreading his punishments, but in loving and respecting him, there is the fear of displeasing him....
  1. “fear (of God), respect, reverence, piety”
.....like a child does not want to displease a loving parent. A child should never have to fear the punishment of a loving parent. God is not a tyrant who relishes punishment......he is a disciplinarian whose love moves him to chastise an erring child, for their good, but never to their detriment....and never punishment for the sake of it.....the chastisement is intended to lead to repentance and forgiveness.
What is the point of Christendom’s Hell? It is disrespectful to God.

I couldn’t love the God you have been taught to worship....he is not a God of love at all, but someone who fails to uphold his own standards of justice. Punishing someone consciously in pain for all eternity, for a short lifetime of sin, is not justice. The punishment does not fit the crime, especially when being born in sin is not our fault.

Right back atcha......open your heart Jack...and see that there is so much more to Jehovah than you can imagine. The god you have been taught to worship, doesn’t exist.....he is a mean-spirited creation of the devil.

Its a Gospel of hope not damnation but many insist on only preaching damnation and become obsesses with whos going to hell rather then leading others to Jesus.Learn to preach the Gospel what your preaching is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ it has no hope in it.How many even look at the Gospel as a Gospel of hope anymore do they even know what its about anymore. Many like to live in the philosophy but don't actually practice any of it.You were condemned to hell by Satan not God in the fall of humanity God is offering you a path to him and eternal life if you want to ignore it your free to choose it. All evil on the earth is done by humans with full knowledge of their evil acts not God.God will bring Justice were they think they will escape. Its justice you should fear if you are evil.No one gets sent to hell you were already condemned to hell in the fall God offers you a way out of hell.

It ain't just the Catholics. I attended a Baptist church as a child that used that weapon quite effectively.

If it's true that "The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. " (1 Corinthians 2:4), bringing it down to the level of "love our God or burn for eternity" is very much understandable to the natural man.

True. The eternal place of punishment that is Hell in our literature does not exist in Judaism. And since Jesus is the Messiah of their faith nothing has changed about that.

Jesus preached to Jews. They were still Jews just what we call today, Messianic Jews. Because they accepted Messiahs new covenant that he sealed in the cross with his blood.

People, pagans, referred to them and gentile converts later,as Christians when in Antioch. Long after Jesus. Before that they were people of the way.

Hell is a Roman pagan myth.

Imagine a benevolent sovereign God that has the Elect in his plans and then burns for eternity those not part of that plan.

Yuk

I guess Jesus is a liar he spoke about hell more than anyone else in the bible he does not follow pagan myths. He even speaks about the eternal worms of hell.As I said God sends no one to hell you send yourself and you have already been sentenced to hell in the fall..Or I guess you don't actually believe that which is the foundation of the faith.
