I have never defended the sins of the few; I have never claimed the sex abuse crisis didn't happen. But you constantly pretend that nothing has been done about it, that your lily white NT churches have no pedophiles. That you wallow in filth cannot be denied.

Your obsession with sex abuse in the Catholic Church is just as perverse as sex abuse itself. You are a troll. Good bye.

Thankyou for you very kind and gentle abuse. It is very much appreciated as it shows me that it is not my role to be as abusive as you.

I have been endeavouring to move this along as led by the Holy Spirit. As you have already seen from what I have posted how much the Holy Spirit was central to everything that happened in the life of the NTC. I could go on recording each verse individually that talks about the work of the Holy Spiirt but this morning as I was meditating on things, I felt I should post all the remaining verses without comment and see where it leads to so here goes.....

    Acts 5:32, Acts 6:3, Acts 6:5, Acts 7:51, Acts 7:55, Acts 8:15, Acts 8:17, Actds 8:18, Acts 8:19, Acts 9:17, Acts 9:31, Acts 10:38, Acts 10: 44, Actds 10:45, Acts 10:47, Acts 11:15, Acts 11:16, Acts 11:24, Acts 13:2, Acts 13:4, Acts 13:9, Acts 13:52, Acts 15:8, Acts 15:28, Acts 16:6, Acts 19:22, Acts 19:6, Acts 20:23, Acts 20:28, Acts 21:11, Acts 28:25.

Interested in what you have to say about these verses and what you draw out of them.

Love the NT Church. They were Catholic.

Who brings the wine and bread to do this in remembrance of Him?

Who brings the oil to anoint the sick? (James 5:14)

Who votes on who would be the elders of the church so that they can decide who is a pagan or tax collector? (Matthew 18:17)

Since Church is a faux word, what does that make the Catholic...Church?

    Good morning troll,

Yup, they were Christians all right. And earliest recording of The Church being called The Catholic Church was around 100AD. Do you even know what the word catholic means?

Why do you feel the need to be so unpleasant/nasty in your communications? Is it for the shock value? In your real life are you in general an unpleasant/nasty person?

It's a non sequitur fallacy. "faux" is a French word meaning fake. If the historic Church is fake, then theological parasites are more so. "Catholic" is not a noun, it is an adjective describing one of four divine characteristics. The only existing church in the 1st century was called "Catholic". That is a historical fact denied by uneducated anti-Catholics. Fact, not opinion, not doctrinal...fact. It makes some anti-Catholics go bonkers. Ignoring, dismissing or distorting the general consensus of the Early Church Fathers is censorship, but it doesn't always work.
