And i thought this thread was a joke.

He is known for saying just about anything that he really doesn't mean.

If it's outrageous, he doesn't mean it. But it has gotten the opposing party's goat on many occasions. It makes their monkey dance every time.
And it makes for interesting headlines.

I'm not sure Trump knows how to kiss.

I don't know if Congressman Gaetz was at that event or not. He's from Florida, maybe he was. I think he'd kiss Trump if asked.

Republican congressman Matt Gaetz mocked for sycophantic Trump message

A Florida congressman has been mocked online for responding to Donald Trump’s return to the White House with the words: "I will never love another President again!"

Matt Gaetz, 38, made his declaration after the president posted a video of his Monday night discharge from the Walter Reed hospital.

I just saw the clip of Trump saying that. I laughed. I think he has a great sense of humor. And one simply knows he was kidding. But if Biden said that I would be hiding my grand daughters.
The thought made me feel queasy. I wouldn't even want to shake hands with him

He also dropped the f-bomb on the radio the other day. I can remember when broadcasters would get in trouble for allowing that. Now it's no problem. It was on Rush Limbaugh's show; and I know they have a time-delay, but they didn't use it. Do you find that amusing too?

I agree he has a good sense of humor! The clip made me chuckle. Also, the part about not hiding in the basement!

Not amusing no. But when one considers what he's faced the last 4 years I would say excusable.

It makes me feel like I might be Lot in Sodom.

2 Peter 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

Breaking the law is excusable? And he calls himself the law and order President?

I'd also like to know why Limbaugh didn't mute that word when it's against the law.

I would suggest that if one curse word is all you have that concerns you in today's world I would like to share your bubble.
If someone allows God to tame his tongue, a lot of other fires never get started. The person with an untamed tongue?

James 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

It's a lot more than one curse word. His conversation is often filthy, and so is Melania's except she knows how to clean things up when she's speaking in public. Still, I find it bizarre she used the f-bomb when talking about how she didn't like doing the Christmas decorations. She acted as if she was so proud of her efforts decorating for Christmas while secretly swearing about it. Do you want a link to that story -- she was caught on tape.

Ha, one TV evangelist said Trump used bad language now because he's too busy to watch Christian broadcasts.

A real problem with foul language is it shows a lack of coherent attitude or policy. The mind is not putting things into logical and rational order, but striking out emotionally in a negative way. I don't Iran was impressed by his vulgar language. I think Iran would know to interpret it as bluster that lacked a coherent strategy. I hope he has a rational strategy, but it makes me wonder.

Perhaps you haven't noticed that after Trump was elected, other people started using bad language in public more. Yes, some Democrats resorted to it. Maybe they thought if Trump got elected by being foul-mouthed, maybe they should be too. The most shocking example of that was DNC Chairman Perez and the Congresswoman using foul language about Trump in front of her child. Trump seems to have made it socially acceptable to be rude and vulgar.

I don't want him within 1,000 miles of me let alone touch me with any part of his body....

Me either. I wouldn’t let Donald Trump anywhere near me. He’s a dirty old man with a well known history of grabbing women between their legs and forcibly kissing them. He proudly bragged about that and he bragged about walking in on naked and half-dressed young women (some were teenagers) backstage of beauty pageants. The man is a notorious womanizer and philanderer who has had multiple affairs. In fact, he’s currently married to one of his mistresses. He paid off his porn star and playboy bunny mistresses while he was campaigning during the last election.

Yes, I know survivors of SRA (satanic ritual abuse) and MK Ultra who witnessed/experienced him doing that and worse (sexually torturing young women/girls and laughing when they passed out from the pain) in his casinos. He still says he needs no Savior, no repentance. He is prideful. It really bothers me how many Christians think he's a great man. He is an evil person...
