A conversation with somebody like me might just give some hope to Christian Newbies who have been badly taught by Lordship Salvationists and other Legalists who are Grace Deniers and don’t really preach or Believe the “ Good News” That Jesus actually DID die for ALL of their Sins and live lives full of fear and lack of Assurance and fail to Realize that they are not saved by their Performance, the main parts being “ Sure, Jesus Saves—— BUT you will go to Hell if you sin on purpose or die with any unrepented sins on your performance ledger.....90% Of “ Christians” ADD to the Gospel Of Pure Grace and are “ Fallen From Grace” and are just as confused as the World as to what that designation means and don’t even know it ......
My purpose here is to spread the Good News That Salvation is ALL about what God has done for Lost , Sinful men and NOT what man does for God......I am here to enlighten people to the fact that the song that they have mindlessly sung all of their lives is really True —— it really * IS* , “ Nothing But The Blood”——- add to that fact in regard to getting Saved and Staying Saved and you have crossed the line——- You are “ Fallen From Grace” ( Read Galatians chapter Five to see what the designation Really means).....some very good Bible Teachers equate it to Damnation.....let's hope that is not true or that “ Narrow Gate “ is REALLY “ Narrow”......If you are not RESTING in the Gospel , just read Hebrews 3 and 4—-God, not me, accuses you of “ Disobedience and UNBELIEF”.......serious stuff ........May God grant us all Wisdom in these matters.....God Bless.....
Well, you can tell 'em what the Bible teaches, Bloodbought, or you can tell 'em what you think will make them
feel good. It's up to you.
Jesus didn't go around telling anybody what He thought would make 'em feel good.
Yeah, of course it's a challenge when you first get saved to resist temptations, but if you strive for it daily, as you should, it becomes easier. And, as I stated previously, the Holy Spirit can help you do absolutely
anything you need to do. Especially those things that please God.
Philippians 4:13
" ... go forth and sin no more."
John 8:11
"Sin no more or something worse will happen to you."
John 5:14
"... work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."
Philippians 2:12
"... he who endures to the end will be saved."
Matthew 24:13
"...we are partakers of Christ 'IF' we hold the beginning of our confidence (faith) stedfast unto the end;"
Hebrews 3:14
"... after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise."
Hebrews 6:15
"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised
to them that love Him."
James 1:12 (Them that love Him will
fight for the reward.)
The foundational concept of being a
Christian is to live as
Christ lived. He committed not one single sin in all of His life upon the earth. We have HIS Spirit dwelling within us to help us to achieve the same. Yes, of course He knows it is a challenge - that's the point. Those who love Jesus enough to detach from worldy distractions and passions and attachments enough will become much more capable of living as He lived.
Do you know that even Paul did not consider himself to have 'achieved' the perfection that he believed it took to receive the crown of salvation?
Philippians 3:12
James 1:12
You may think you're helping those who have been misled by Christian extremist groups, but you're not helping anybody if you tell them it's ok to sin, certainly not if you lead them to believe they can live in habitual sin, or sinful lifestyles.
What does the Bible say? Sin separates you from God.
Isaiah 59:2
Romans 6:23
Is that what you want to make people more comfortable with?
