Evil is a useful tool of God's for cleansing and purging the soul, bringing people to repentance:
"5hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the Day of the Lord." 1 Corinthians 5:5

Translation: So God makes everything proper and appropriate for His Plan, but He has put obscurity in their hearts.. so that, or in order that they cannot know or understand what it is that He is doing to them in this human existence we call life.

Did God create Satan or was he an accident?
