That's okay, give it time.Nope. I don’t buy it, sorry.
You have got to be out of your mind (or has Satan taken it captive?). All of the above is FALSE? What utter rubbish!False teachings presented by the subject translation:
1. Christ existed before anything was created. - False
2. He made things we can see and the things we can't see. - False
3. He existed before anything else. - False
4. God existed in Christ "in all his fulness." - False
5. God reconciled everything to himself - False
6. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth. - False
Hard to hear? As I said, Gnostic teaching has crept into Christian thought. You have got to be out of your mind (or has Satan taken it captive?). All of the above is FALSE? What utter rubbish!
Very easy. find it in scriptures. And where will I find all this stated in the Bible????
That's okay, give it time.
That means you're stating that the apostle Paul (and Peter and John) should not have been a teacher. And yet Jesus chose him to be an apostle:I still believe Jesus was God. It’s just about the ONLY thing I would argue strenuously about. Jesus is my Lord and my God and my Savior and my soul magnifies Him and anyone who doesn’t believe it should not be a teacher.
Of course, yes. Jesus is God incarnate. Keep on believing.Well, it’s been 16 years. I still believe Jesus was God. It’s just about the ONLY thing I would argue strenuously about. Jesus is my Lord and my God and my Savior and my soul magnifies Him and anyone who doesn’t believe it should not be a teacher. It’s the one thing I will never give on. I know who I have believed.
When you use the indefinite article, along with the capitalized word God, you seem to suggest that there is more than transcendent creator, which is false. That means you're stating that the apostle Paul (and Peter and John) should not have been a teacher. And yet Jesus chose him to be an apostle:
Acts 20:24 (WEB):
(24) ... the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.
Paul also wrote, Ephesians 1 (WEB):
(3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;
(15) For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which you have toward all the saints,
(16) don’t cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
(17) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;
(18) having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
(19) and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might
(20) which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,
(21) far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.
(22) He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly,
(23) which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
Yes, Jesus is a God to us (for he is now greater than all living beings except YHWH, and YHWH has given Jesus authority over every other living being), but there is only one true almighty God, the God of Jesus, our Father in heaven.
1 Corinthians 8:6 (WEB):
(6) yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.
And don't forget Jesus' own testimony, when in prayer to God he stated:
John 17:3 (WEB):
(3) This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
Neither...our great God and Savior Christ Jesus is God along WITH/PROS YHVH=echadWhen you use the indefinite article, along with the capitalized word God, you seem to suggest that there is more than transcendent creator, which is false.
Now, we use the term "god" with a small 'g' to indicate a man who rules over a kingdom. If we were to say that Jesus is "a god" in that sense, this is true, especially because Jesus refers to himself in this way. (Refer to John 10:32-35)
Which one do you mean?
Blah, blah, blah.
Arguing verses against other verses.
I was asking @keithr which one he meant.Neither...our great God and Savior Christ Jesus is God along WITH/PROS YHVH=echad

John says that the "word" was with God. He didn't say "Jesus" or "Christ" was with God. There can be only one, transcendent creator.Neither...our great God and Savior Christ Jesus is God along WITH/PROS YHVH=echad

Since when did you decide to start perverting Bible truth?John says that the "word" was with God. He didn't say "Jesus" or "Christ" was with God. There can be only one, transcendent creator.
Not for you to decide who is the transcendent creator or not.John says that the "word" was with God. He didn't say "Jesus" or "Christ" was with God. There can be only one, transcendent creator.
Of course, yes. Jesus is God incarnate. Keep on believing.

All right; I'll bite. Sure he did. To whom was John referring in verse 14?John says that the "word" was with God. He didn't say "Jesus" or "Christ" was with God.
All right; I'll bite. Sure he did. To whom was John referring in verse 14?
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only from the Father, full of grace and truth.
