As I said...just mention God's desire that we seek Him for a full measure of grace...and many GO BALLISTIC! Is that rational? Not even close. We battle against principalities and powers.
No, he was not anywhere near rational. In fact, it didn’t even seem like Apak speaking at all.
It proves you’re doing something right.

KJV Ephesians 5:25-27
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
As I understand the above scriptures, it seems to me that the church must go through a process by which it comes to a place whereby it is without spot, wrinkle, or blemish. I would hesitate to suggest such a condition now prevails.
Jesus said it would be by His word... Truth... That we become sanctified. This truth, any truth, takes time to learn and understand. The more truth we accept and learn, the more sanctified we are, our characters are transformed, and we become more like Jesus, holy and unblameable in His sight.
If you claim to be fully sanctified now, does that mean you now know all truth?

Blessed are those who believe in CHRIST JESUS
But cursed and under the curse still are those who deny Him .
Today a blessing is being sounded .
BELIEVE YE in HE WHOM GOD DID SEND for those are the blessed of the MOST HIGH
but cursed are they who reject and deny Him .
A blessing to those who do believe but cursed are those who deny .

And the blood of none are upon my hands for i have pointed to CHRIST ALONE as the ONLY MEANS to be saved .
I have not given out a false hope of a false love but i have pointed to the ONLY TRUTH , ONLY LOVE in TRUTH CHRIST JESUS .
All must make the decision , whether to serve the gods and god of the all inclusive lie or the GOD OF CHRIST JESUS .
As for me and the lambs WE CLING TO THE CHRIST OF GOD and HE ALONE . No other hope , no other path ,
no other mindset .

Choose life and not death . Choose CHRIST JESUS .
In HE alone is life and life eternal all else is but the winds of vain men who have sowed to the wind and shall indeed reap the whirlwind
of the destruction and wrath of all mighty GOD whom THE CHRIST they denied SHALL TREAD upon them .
Take heed to yourself and unto the holy doctrine delivered unto us FIRST by CHRIST , later by the apostels
and through all who were faithful through all generations .

Life is too short to have a desire to argue points of the Bible; due the subjectivity in which a person lives in faith and have relationship with God in their own time.

No one knows everything, but there are evidences to discover. To at least have a handle on understanding the Bible by and through the spirit by going through the narrative.

God started and created in a process in which he had started by his word in created light and separating the darkness.

As human beings are by nature sinful; fleshly, all have fallen short to the glory of God, only made new in Christ through his resurrection even made to have the ability to stand right before God because of the Lord.

Faith is just the start of the journey, once you reach the cross, a life that incorporates God into it, and allows the baptism of the death of Christ also to envelop in their minds and heart which leads to dying to the earthly, fleshly desires though they are still part of us.

The spiritual aspects are all from the heavenly realm, and are done by the spirit of God in and through you.

Every day though it is a step by step process, waking up, incorporating God into your life, with prayer and reading the word to grow in understanding, by the spirit.

While being made right with God is believing in the Lord, knowing God and knowing the one whom he had sent is eternal life according to Jesus. Which the spirit become built up on the principles one learns through time and effort in subjecting themselves to learning and growing in the Lord and his ways in which one desire to try to rely on the spirit more than the flesh and it can be a difficult road but following Christ is not easy, while it not easy you should know you are not alone in your struggles you may be facing in your flesh.
“And I, brethren, if uncircumcision I yet preach, why yet am I persecuted? then hath the stumbling-block of the cross been done away; O that even they would cut themselves off who are unsettling you! For ye — to freedom ye were called, brethren, only not the freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through the love serve ye one another, for all the law in one word is fulfilled — in this: ‘Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself;’ and if one another ye do bite and devour, see — that ye may not by one another be consumed. And I say: In the Spirit walk ye, and the desire of the flesh ye may not complete; for the flesh doth desire contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed one to another, that the things that ye may will — these ye may not do; and if by the Spirit ye are led, ye are not under law. And manifest also are the works of the flesh, which are: Adultery, whoredom, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strifes, emulations, wraths, rivalries, dissensions, sects, envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revellings, and such like, of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that those doing such things the reign of God shall not inherit. And the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law; and those who are Christ's, the flesh did crucify with the affections, and the desires; if we may live in the Spirit, in the Spirit also we may walk; let us not become vain-glorious — one another provoking, one another envying!”

Many believe that so long as Jesus died for their sins, and they believe this, they are saved. Many see sanctification as a result or fruit of that salvation, as if sanctification isn’t a part of the good news of the gospel, or isn’t essential to our salvation. I would strongly state that sanctification isn’t an optional extra. It isn’t an “add-on” to the gospel app to enhance it and make it more attractive or easier to use.

That Christ died for me, a sinner, and that on account of the precious blood offered in my stead, I am accounted righteous before a holy God, is indeed a wonderfully marvelous thing. That such is at least part of the gospel is without doubt…but is it complete? Does that guarantee my eternal destiny to be in heaven or the new earth? According to my Bible I am not saved by His death, but by His life.

KJV Romans 5:9-11
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

All the condemnation and penalty for my sins or transgressions have been met at the cross. I am now justified. Praise God! But…and this is a very big BUT, such does NOT complete the atonement. Unless atonement is made, I may as well die in my sins, and/or live as a heathen. Because atonement was not made at the cross. Although it is taught, that atonement was made and finished at the cross when the Lamb of God died, and although much of the Christian world believes this is the case, and possibly including some reading this, the acceptance and popularity of such a concept does not make it any more true.

Here are some very important, nay, essential factors to consider.

1. If the atonement was made at the cross of Calvary, by whom was it made? I ask this because throughout scripture we are informed that atonement is the work of a priest…are we to assume that Caiaphas or some of his cronies officiated there as priests? No, they were not offering Christ as atonement…they were wickedly murdering him as were the Roman soldiers. And Christ Himself was not the priest, He was the victim.

2. Further to the above, the slaying of the lamb did not make atonement, because at no time was the priest ever to slay the victim…it was always the sinner. The sinner would confess his sins over the animal, metaphorically transferring his sins to the animal, then cut its throat. See Leviticus 4:1-4; 13-15 etc. After this, the priest took the blood into the sanctuary to make atonement. Levit. 4:5-12;16-21.

3. Christ was/is even now the appointed High Priest to make atonement, but could not officiate in such a capacity until after His resurrection. Certainly there is no evidence that He did such a thing while on earth.

4. The atonement was always made in the sanctuary….Calvary was not such a place….Calvary was “outside the gate”. And Christ's blood was not taken into Jerusalem to the temple.

5. According to Hebrews 8:4 Christ could not make the atonement while on earth, because He could not be a priest while on earth, not being born into the house of Levi. The Levitical priesthood was an earthly function, the heavenly priesthood like that of Melchizedek, a heavenly/divine function.

6. Thus whatever nature atonement was, could not be accomplished by Jesus until after His ascension and entry into the heavenly sanctuary described in Hebrews, where with His own blood He now ministers as our High Priest in making atonement for us.

Thus the gospel we must share, teach, and preach on must be the full gospel in its entirety. No part or portion can be left out as if an optional extra. Only with the full gospel taught is the power of the gospel manifest in bearing fruits of righteousness in those who by nature are still sinners, but who are being transformed by the renewing of their minds into the image of Christ. It is the ministry of Christ operating from within the sanctuary in heaven, before the throne of the Father, that is our sanctification. It is the work of the holy Spirit operating in our lives to bring about the character adjustments necessary in this life to fellowship with holy beings in glory.

Only those who have been fully justified…fully sanctified…will be fully glorified. That is the full gospel.

Lets sum this up so as even a five year old can grasp its simplicity .
THERE is a huge difference between mouth faith and HEART FAITH
between lip service and heart service to match the lip service .
Many are as i once was . I could also quoate the gospel that JESUS did die for my sins ,
but i tell us all I DID NOT KNOW HIM and was in all out darkness loving my sin . I DIDNT KNOW HIM .
GOD changes a heart , A HEART IS CHANGED . IT aint the same ol man , ITS THE NEW MAN .

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Lizbeth, not ignoring you except temporarily - sometimes I want to just hear Epi speak as I learn a lot from him. There are a few who want to hear more.
But I do want to address your thought that filthy rags verse is only referring to unbelievers because I think that’s clearly wrong. So, later. I want to listen this morning. And ask my questions.
No worries, take your time. I did not say filthy rags only refers to unbelievers....not at all! Better read what I wrote again, when you can.

I don't see anybody calling the OT saints' righteousness filthy rags. Only the unbelieving under the old covenant who were trying to establish their own righteousness apart from faith.
