FALSE - again.
The list of burned at the stake is innumerable.
After they were convicted by the Church, they were turned over to the local government for execution because of religious restrictions that kept ecclesial clergy from actually carrying out the executions.
What a phony way of getting others to do their dirty work.
WRONG.
They were ALWAYS matters of state and you can't name ONE Pope who ever condemned anybody to death other than Peter with Ananias and Sapphira.

If you're going to tell lies on an open forum - make sure there are no educated people around next time . . .

Oh but he is nailed down to the throne in heaven, because that's how powerful he is. He can be everywhere, yet not actually everywhere at the same time.
He see's all from the comfort of his seat..............
You don't have the slightest clue as to the idea of God's omnipresence.

Is that all you got? The "I don't know" response?......Ok, whatever, believe what you believe, I'm moving on to better things.
Well, it's OBVIOUS that you don't have a clue or you wouldn't be making these ridiculous statements about Satan going to Heaven to talk to God.

Get your facts straight.

These Residential schools were run by the Catholic Church.

Google "Residential School Crimes by the Catholic Church in Canada" and you will find lots of criminal activity committed by your glorious Catholic institution. I'm not even mentioning the abuse of altar boys by sexual perverted priests.

No they weren't.
the Church doesn't run schools. They are run by Clerical Orders. and NOT by the church at large.
If there are bad people within these orders it is like the BTK serial killer who was a lay minister in his Protestant church and began torturing and killing people with impunity. You don't blame HIS church for HIS crimes, do you??

You might want to read a little Book called "Pedophiles and Priests" by PROTESTANT author Philip Jenkins.
He lays out the real statistics about molestation in churches and schools - and guess what?? the problem is FAR more widespread in Protestant sects than in the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church got all the press because it is the largest Church in the US.

Is the entire Baptist church at large to blame for the actions of some of its adherents.
How about the Lutherans?
How about the Methodists?
How about all of the "Non-denominational" sects??

Can YOU say "Hypocrite"??

There you go again.
You can't discuss without throwing insults to people who have a different view of the Catholic Church?
Your post wasn't a simple "different view". It was a hypocritical, lie-filled rant.
BIG difference

You're just angry that I exposed you in front of everyone with the facts . . .

Not "history" so much as it is revisionist manure . . .
well, you could just actually dispute the characterizations individually if you like, rather than just ranting, i mean, why not right, if you're right, you're right. Let's start with ol' Leo, give us your take if you will;

"After joining the Church at fourteen, he swiftly got involved with the Inquisition; where ‘got involved with’ means ‘terrified other inquisitors with his insane thirst for blood’. Booted out for his extreme tactics, Pope Pius V took one look at the lemons life had handed him and decided to make some murderous lemonade. Upon returning to Rome he shot up through the ranks, eventually making Pope; at which point he revived his love for Inquisiting big time. Dropped charges were revived, protections discarded, Jews sent into exile and Protestants terminated with extreme prejudice. He created the conditions for the St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre, encouraged sectarian violence and was rewarded with Sainthood and a glass coffin."

First of all - proving a negative is not my job.
YOU must provide proof for the ridiculous claims you're making.

The very first sentence is a lie - so why bother with the rest??
Pius V was BORN a Catholic. He didn't "enter" the Church at 14.

Homework time . . .

And ONLY a person who is ignorant about God's omnipresence actually believes that you have to "go somewhere" to show yourself to God . . .

Good point, I have never considered that before. I too just presumed that Satan presented himself before the Throne.
Maybe, but just as easily 'maybe not'.
Just another argument which cannot be proved or disproved from either side. :)

It was perhaps an early example of a mother giving birth in a pool of water. In this case a priest could have been on hand to perform the necessaries.

often referred to as 'cradle to grave Catholic' imho - twinc
