I do have to say it was good to see he was pushing feeding kids more than celebrating homosexuality. My wife and I left our favorite church because they were hell-bent on making celebrities out of homosexuals.
understand that he has no problem with homosexual marriages to be performed in the church.
I disagree with that.
I would not attend a church like that.
Homosexuals can't enter the Kingdom of God and that's Biblical.
I watched the entire video. If homosexuals are attending church because they realize that it is against scripture, that it is sinful and want to change their behavior then I can understand the pastors allowing them into their church. But we are seeing that many homosexuals attend a church with the intent to make the church change their statement of faith to accept and conform to their homosexual lifestyles. Thanks for watching.
I too agree with the above quote of yours.
I can understand the pastors who allow NON-practicing homosexuals in their church. I see that...they just can't be attracted to women, but are witholding from men.
I went to a church near me not too long ago, it was the first visit. I didn't know anything about the church. I was told during Sunday School that the church is about diversity and that gave me an uneasy feeling. Then after Sunday School the main service began. I noticed that there were probably less than 20 people there, a lot of empty seats. Then I saw the preacher. He was obviously gay although I don't know if he is a practicing homosexual. I haven't been back to that church since then.I too could not go to a church where they allowed them to marry. NO, not at all!!!
Like I say...it sure did challenge my attitude!
I have heard all the rubbish such people are peddling like that for years but the fact is the Bible is the authority and remember it's not me who is saying it, it's God !That is NOT a "discussion".
You very obviously did NOT listen to the video.
Therefore you have nothing to say here.

I agree with truthquest.
I never said they can't come into the Church, but if they are trying to change Gods Laws and bastardise the Church for their own worldly ends, such is not a Christian Church.
Problem with new age people are they are using Political Correctness to undermine Jesus Christ Church with every tool they can so as to slip the thin edge of the wedge in to tip it up side down.
Be carful bygrace that it's not humanism you are peddling.
Like I said to be Biblical correct, Sodomites can't enter the Kingdome of God because they have no part of such, there is a vast void between sodomites and the people of God.
All who support sodomites will go to Hell because to do such is working against the Kingdom of God and such is a work of the Anti-Christ !
Remember the Serpent and how he just twisted words just a bit to mislead.

I have noticed that especially with celebrities, people in Hollywood and other entertainers are really making it quite clear that many of them are gay and that if anyone has a problem with that then there's something wrong with them and that they need to get with the program so to speak. Many celebrities who have children, even very young children, are dressing them in a certain way, cross dressing. They are also going so far as to change the gender of their children through surgeries. These children aren't even old enough to know anything about that and certainly can't make an informed decision about actually changing their bodies that way. I have a huge problem with this.
I worked in a children's nursery for a time and there was this little boy about five years old. It was raining that day so I decided to let the children play dress up. There was a big box of clothes that was kept for that for both boys and girls. This little boy wanted to wear a dress because as he told me, "my mother lets me do it".
There's no wonder there's so much gender confusion and it is taught in schools even to very young children and this has been going on for a long time.

Yes and they are trying to see how far they can push this and how much they can get by with before the public outcry about it.Amen Cathey
Appreciate your comments here.
I think it is all about "gradualism"... like boiling a fog...start in cold water then turn up the heat. Slowly, slowly.
You mentioned Hollywood.
In thinking back three decades, at first it was subtle..then we all notice the "screamingly funny" sitcoms on TV, always funny..always during "family Tv time...the slow seduction..."slowly slowly catchy monkey." They were "in" and being enjoyed.
Now we have landed where we are today.![]()
It is sad. We can pray for these children.Wow..and isn't that the truth...the children don't stand a chance.
" Let them choose their gender" I am sure Jesus weeps. So very sad.
Where are the intercessors in this day???
Please don't post here unless you have actually listened to it .
It is only 30 mins long.
I'd like comment about this message...not just your personal views on the subject.
Thanks...Helen.
I am with you on this. I enjoyed his honesty even though I disagree on some of the specifics.I watched the whole sermon.
I agree with some of what he said.
I also disagree about some of what he said.
Yes, compassion as Jesus had compassion on and stood with the publicans and prostitutes, not because he approved of their lifestyles but because God loved them in spite of their mistaken ways. How much like Jesus are we?He said we should have compassion for all people, regardless of sexual orientation.
I agree with that. Compassion for all, but that does not mean we have to agree with lifestyles.
While he may have made a good argument for a more worldly way of seeing things I also would not be a part of such a church group. The reason is because performing a marriage must, as I see it, should be a marriage according to God. But in standing where I do on this I must also recall what the preacher said about marriage and divorce. Fornication is fornication between persons of opposite sexes even as it is fornication between persons of the same sex. If a preacher or pastor or the members of an assembly take strong position against one kind of fornication they should be equally strong against another. If I won't belong to a church that marries same sex couples, neither should I belong to a church that marries opposite sex couples when to do so would stamp my approval on what God would call adultery or fornication.I understand that he has no problem with homosexual marriages to be performed in the church.
I disagree with that.
I would not attend a church like that.
I would hesitate to make a blanket rule like this. If God is leading then let Him lead. The fact is that most places I have attended as a member or a visitor do limit God with their own set of rules instead of allowing God to lead in all things. The problem of course as always is people and not only those engaged in homosexuals relations are at fault. It makes me think twice about belonging to any church group because all of them consist of flawed individuals... Hey that includes me too.I think homosexuals should be allowed to attend church.
But I don't think they should be in leadership positions such as elders.
Agreed! He hedges a little on it because of scripture, but his conclusion has to do with his human experience. God, however, is still God and is only limited as we limit Him.His remarks on prayer: He puts a limit on what God can do.
I think it should be up to God, which is almost the same thing you are saying... but not quite. This is one of his quotes:
"But I think it's up to a local congregation to determine whether or not a marriage should be blessed of God. And it shouldn't be up to the government." -
I think it should be up to Scripture, not the congregation OR the government.
I thought it would be the same.I think it should be up to God, which is almost the same thing you are saying... but not quite.
I would hesitate to make a blanket rule like this. If God is leading then let Him lead.
I agree with this, but to me if we are going to discriminate against fornication it should be an equal discrimination against any fornication. Thanks for watching.
I too agree with the above quote of yours.

This is what preachers should be doing, challenging us when we need to be challenged. It is certainly what Jesus did.I too could not go to a church where they allowed them to marry. NO, not at all!!!
Like I say...it sure did challenge my attitude!
In opposition to the preacher's comments in this regard, I believe that a person's sexual orientation can be affected by circumstances and personal history... and he or she can be changed back to a better way in this as in anything that stands between the person and God.When I was 14 I was very very close to a girl at school a year old then me.
My mother told me that I was much to obsessed and close to her. She dominated me and my time. She sulked if I hung out with some other girl .
Thankfully we drifted apart, she left school before me.
After I was married and had two kids, I bumped into her when out shopping.
Goodness!!! She looked just like a guy. She had cropped hair, two teeth missing in the front. And told me that she was kicked out of the army. She still wore army boots.
( back in the 60's I can guess why she was kicked out!! )
She was so outwardly a dyke ...
So then I felt sorry for mu mother, and how angry and mad I was at her poor thing...she could probably see what I could not see.
I said all that to say...I so easily could have drifted into a same sex relationship with her...it would have been 'the next step'!!!
So...there, but for the grace of God, go I.
