You said to Aspen:-

ah, supplements are not the way to go anyway, esp with metals..

And I asked ...AND? What is the answer then ???
It seemed like you stopped mid sentence...just when you were going to tell us how to take it.
ah, how to take chromium? sorry.
make sure your protein sources are viable (for the vitamin D, needed for absorption), and basically just eat healthy, unprocessed food as much as possible. A list of naturally occurring sources is pretty easy to get. But after antibiotics you will not be able to absorb any anyway without gut remediation, which will exhibit as "allergy." Step 1, lose the doctor. Step 2, quit eating CAFO protein, etc.

you take a bat to anyone offering you "food" from a "grocery store" lol, even Whole Foods.
as a general rule if it comes in a package, don't eat it
but even the produce is yack, don't get me started lol

"chromium deficiency" is shorthand for "bad diet." (wadr)
if you have decent/good sources of the many foods that contain trace Cr3, you won't have a deficiency. Ppl with Cr3 deficiencies always, always, always have an antibiotic past also, in my experience. The correlation is stronger than breast cancer to hair dye

Oh, okay...we pretty much eat organic if we can find it.
Not everything is found this far north.

I do eat cookies thought and chocolate...both my weaknesses.
I swear off them, then like a dog to it's vomit I am again looking around for them again.

The trouble is, if and when I get a health crisis I am scared into the straight diet..then when feeling better I relax the standard again. :(

Dave eats better than I do.

or if you do eat CAFO protein then pump up on all the other healthy sounding things on the list which dont lie you aren't eating much of now, stuff like that. you can make tradeoffs. anyway right now you should be eating like garlic soup and raw white onions, turmeric spiced stuff, rice or whatever, immune boosting stuff. or even immunity pills, concentrations of garlic etc. the antibiotics are killing you but do what you want there. "dead doctors don't lie"

if you ate all the stuff on the chromium list even once a week, prolly even from a grocery store, you would do fine. you could cheat all over the place. oranges, not oj. no sugar on the nuts, etc. raw white onions (who eats that lol).
but see for a lot of people that whole list is like the occasional stuff right

I pray it works, and that the underlying cause is remedied.

Can Fasting Improve Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms?

The mice that fasted every other day were less likely to develop signs of neurological damage such as difficulty walking, limb weakness and paralysis.

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
i currently cannot walk on my right foot because a sudden onset of neuropathy set in.
Any suggestions?

I'm sorry for this. I have it in both feet and my wife has it in her hands.

Neuropathy sounds so harmless but is horrible.

I sometimes use Epsom salts for foot baths with water a hot as I can stand. At least do 30 minutes. I also give them a good massage. This sometimes helps. My greatest relief, sadly, comes from the more severe pain from other afflictions!

The elastic ankle braces do help. I turn them around so they cover more of my foot. Even slight pressure seems to help.

These have helped more than anything just don't make them too tight.

Improving
not sure if i made this clear, sorry, but i am seeing an avalanche (hmm, i need this in another thread too lol) of Crohn's in our age group, 3 new cases in the past year, and imo your improvement is going to come at a very heavy cost, ok. I would contemplate feces therapy, or some other remediation for the antibiotic gut, asap. Bc there is a train coming, ok, and you are not standing on the tracks, you are welded to them. You did not get infected because you had a lack of penicillin. wadr

Mark's Pickled Onion Slaw:
of course you cannot culture onions bc of their strong antibiotic properties, but you can pickle them without destroying the matrix that cooking renders bio-unavailable, which there is prolly even a word for. Aside from building immunity, this recipe will provide other benefits, mosquitoes will hate you, etc. Pickled garlic is often more palatable to ppl at first too i guess, i eat them both like candy raw so i have kinda forgotten how hard it maybe is to get comfy with onions and garlic lol

as a general rule if it comes in a package, don't eat it
i said this kind of TIC, obv Bob's Mill grains in those little one pound packages are in pkgs but they are great, so maybe i mean more like 'if it comes in a package and it is cheaper than if you tried to assemble the ingredients yourself, don't eat it' perhaps. Be aware when a deal is too good to be true iow, or don't be looking for bargains in your food supply, something like that. Bob's i can reproduce for about half the price if i buy in bulk; a 25 cent box of kraft mac-n-cheese i can't reproduce for less than about $2.50. So "profit" as a concept gets weirdly warped here; obv Kraft makes a lot more than Bob's, but that is all about scale i guess. A $30 chicken is cheaper than a $3 one, in a certain sense anyway, and there is surely less profit in the $30 chicken too, bc scale.
