It's hard to see a non literal Amil perspective when you have to abandon a natural enterpretation of scripture to even go there.

Well that's the thing though - I see both the literal and human AND the nonljteral and spiritual meaning. Some seem to insist on only one or the other.I

But Abraham really DID have literal flesh and blood sons. But ALSO we ourselves ARE the children of the promise. So you see it is both. But it is the Spirit of the words that help us.

It is a basic thing to understand the rapture happens before the second coming. Biblical knowledge is not a theory but the word of God. Jesus will rapture us.
I don't think it is such a basic thing. You don't come to it all at once. You first see a problem and can't fathom how to reconcile certain verses. So you puzzle over it until you are shown that there are some verses that go back and forth between near future and farther future.

Is anyone going to call out this mans anti-semetic replacement theology?
Paul, the Apostles and other Jews by the thousands and thousands of the early church were true Israel to whom God added believing gentiles. Not replacement theology, removal of unbelievers theology. Jesus IS Israel in the NT if you study the topic.

Too bizarre to even find an answer for...
Not really. Think of how the pharisees viewed the kingdom and how Jesus described it to them as spiritual instead. Jesus' kingdom is of faith. The pharisee's kingdom is of sight as all millennial theories are today.

Indeed. And if we agree that there will be a rapture, wether pre mid or post, then there is very little we don't agree on. Shalom!
Except the false hope given to Christians who face serious tribulation in the years to come.

Pray that you be counted worthy to escape that time of testing coming on the whole world to test its people.

To be honest, upon reading the title to this thread, I thought it would last one post and then die a natural death. The scriptures used as "proof" of a pre-trib rapture are scarcer than hens teeth. Sure, one could imagine they refer to a pre-trib rapture, but proof? All of them, without exception, could be used as "proof" of the resurrection at the time of the second coming. In any court the case of "proof" would be thrown out because of reasonable doubt.

How do you escape without reading into the text? In the last portion of Revelation 20, after Satan is loosed there is a great attack on the church (still here BTW)
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:11–12)

If you would, please restate any question for sake of clarity and let me reply.
no. Pay as much attention to what the other person is saying or asking in a conversation as you do to what you want to say, and no repeating is necessary. And I am not being mean or snippy when I say this. A conversation involves two parties.

If slag is skimmed off, no more testing of a metal is required.

I'm in the dark on this. Quotes would help.

so we aren't to pray it?

I see those verses as saying the second coming won't happen until the rapture happens first and the son of perdition is revealed. Shalom!
And if the falling away had already taken place in history and the sin of perdition already revealed? That would leave the second coming as the next event to take place right?

Why would God send me a strong delusion?
