Where in Acts 2 is someone speaking in their own language, and listeners hear in theirs? I don't see the gift of interpretation found in scripture to understand the tongues of man. I'm not saying, that God wouldn't allow that kind of miracle, but just no example of such.
Acts 2:4 "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 2:5 "And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Acts 2:6 "Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

Acts 2:7 "And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

Acts 2:8 "And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Acts 2:9 "Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

The Apostles spoke only to God according to Paul (1 Corinthians 14:2). But the devout Jews also received the Holy Spirit and the gift of interpretation.

The apostles spoke to God, the devout Jews also received the Holy Spirit through their words along with the gift of interpretation. They were already born again being devout. But they were entering the New Covenant at Pentecost. It is nothing like Charismatics assume.

Tongues transmitted the Holy Spirit to all who had the gift of interpretation. Those who mocked did not receive.

If the apostles spoke only to God as Paul says, the devout (born again) Jews also received the gift of interpretation and heard the message in their native tongues. These were not human languages..

ERROR #1, the apostle spoke to the MEN, the devout. ERROR#2. devout simply means religious. even the pharisees and sadducees was religious, see how you ERROR. you said that they was "Born again". I suggest you look up "Devout".

They understood a message spoken only to God = they received the gift of interpretation (the Holy Spirit) too.

It's not my box. It is scripture you are suggesting is incomplete.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16–17) (KJV 1900)
You go in circles with me, but one more time...

Scripture contains all that a person needs to approach God, but the bare bones of the Bible are like the dry bones of Ezekiel 37 before God caused breath to enter into them bringing them to Life. The breath was and is the Holy Spirit. What happens there in Ezekiel is comparable to what happened in Genesis 1 or in Acts 2. That which had not Life was given Life by the Breath of God. When you get it right according to God, it happens the same way with you even if you misunderstand it or misinterpret it.

You bring more of what John the Baptist brought, but the Baptist recognized his shortcoming:

"I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:" Matt 3:11

Every genuine believer has the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

MUST HAVE? remember no assumptions, and what is an assumption? a thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof
never assume nothing unless the scriptures states it. for, ...... Colossians 2:8 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ".

ERROR, not "of" but "WITH" the Holy Ghost. the Baptism "of" the Holy Ghost is tp EMPOWER us with Gifts.
Faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. How can anyone "believe" apart from already having the Holy Spirit? PS, your "gifts" expired with the apostles who distributed them, and are nothing like the originals.

the message was given to the Apostles and they spoke BY the Spirit to these men. now an example. God allowed a she ass, donkey, speak to a man and I'm sure the animal didn't have the Gift of interpertation. and the man riding the ass hear in his OWN LANGUAGE
