I'm so out of the coffee scene now (a tea person) that I don't even like the smell of coffee beans...
Well I drink lots of tea, but it's been so many decades ago that I gave up coffee that even the smell of it now seems strange...

It’s funny I’m American and don’t even know what these American coffees are, I’m taking it means American style coffee?
Dunkin Donuts has Americano coffee as well, as does Starbucks I believe.
I think it's a diluted espresso not particularly an American bean.
You guys have not only Starbucks from the West Coast, but also Seattle's Best, right? :)
In France an expresso can almost seem like an egg cup size of thick, gluey coffee... :)
