Is he everyone's Lord, or is he only the Lord of those who have surrendered themselves to him?
He's lord to all who call upon him and surrender themselves to him. But he's not everyone s lord as many haven't or won't. However he should love or show love to all people.

"in that day I shall say to them, depart from me, ye who practice unrighteousness. I never knew you..." " If you love me keep my commandments".
We do keep his commandments. Some even keep Gods as well. We are passing. We are as good and passing as can be. We have a good flow and balance. We work, we have food, resyersunts, stores, a life. TVs, books, games ,clothes, you name it. Cars today. The world is clean. What's up?

If he didn't die he's the son of man.
Is the son of man also the Son of God? Is Jesus both? Did Jesus die?

"And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God." Mark 15:39

"In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him." I John 4:9

I was just browsing the site, and saw yours here. :)
Just throwing in two cents.

I have never like the cop out ...< No one sends you to hell. That is a choice you make. > It has never ever made a lick of sense to me.

Nobody choses to put their hand in a fire and burn.
No one in their 'right mind' choses to walk out under a bus.

I think someone came up with the cop-out phrase to try and make God look better , but saying than man choses Hell for himself! o_O

Not that I believe that God prepared the lake of fire for mankind...it says it was prepared for the Devil and his angels. I do believe in a period of 'hell', but not the forever and forever thing.

I don't believe sin is always a choice. I think it is more a non-choice of resisting. I think most sin is prompted by the body lusts of mankind, not by the heart. When left long enough it 'may' become a heart issue. I believe that we just want what we want when we want and as much as we want. Desire overrules the will to choose God.

I am just rambling here for the sake of it.. LOL
Yes... And Amen! We want tlwhat we want when we want as much as we want. I know this. It's normal, so why should we go to hell or even die? It's in our nature's and it's affordable. Luxury is great. I think we can all agree we like this.

Jesus is the son of man and I think you're right he died.if he did he may be an Angel. If he's the son of God then I was wrong in my test in asking the other person to see if he was right. He could be the son of man, or both! Some people have misconceptions.

Hi there.
Well we are free to disagree.
I still say that often it is not a cognitive choice.
As I was saying to him...it is often the lust of the BODY, which has its way, not always a choice of the heart. Think a about it..really.

King David on the roof top, did not choose to sin. " Oh I think I will sin against God"... No, he was listen not to his heart but an organ further down in his body.

He did not 'choose sin', he chose his self /his urges, his body fulfilment .
Well what if he did listen to his real heart!

David didn't choose to rebel against God he liked who he really was. He ALWAYS liked it. It always worked for him. It wasn't until he met Jesus that he changed and that he did well.
