Re your last paragraph....
What causes these "mind conclusions" as you said?
Using the MIND to come to a conclusion of what Gods Word means.
Where is THAT ^ taught?
Remember what Scripture SAYS...
Rom 8
[
7] Because
the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So why do men USE their carnal mind to try and FIGURE OUT What Gods Word Means?
Gods Word is Spirit.
Gods Understanding of His Word is Spirit.
Reliance on a mans carnal mind, to figure out what Gods Understanding of His Word...is NOT Taught.
What IS Taught IS God gives men His Understanding of His Word.
Take eternal security...OSAS OS NOT AS OSNAS
I like to call it eternal security: either conditional or non-conditional.
Still do not know what you mean by OSNAS.
OSAS, is simply an acronym...focusing ON the "ONCE".
Does a person BECOME SAVED, because they are baptized with Water, because a baby has water sprinkled on their head, or because a person goes forward to an Alter Call?
Those ^ are Traditions, that MEN can observe other men DOING.
God is a KEEN Observer of the Thoughts IN A MANS "HEART".
Not every man who has been water Baptized, or baby sprinkled with Water, or participated IN an Alter Call....participated in such things...BECAUSE of His TRUE Belief
in his Heart.
The Observers, may SEE what APPEARS as a Confession of True Belief...
However, one man CAN NOT SEE, the true Thoughts in a mans Heart....OR IF the man is participating based on the Thoughts in HIS MIND.... BUT GOD CAN SEE.
Joining membership of Any "church" of Any denomination, requires the man TO have been Baptized IN THE Spirit. How does a man PROVE that? What is acceptable to ANY church, is PROOF of Water Baptism.
But does THAT mean, it is TRUE?
No, it is an acceptable "indication".
Yet HOW many men have "joined" a Church...
For CLOUT? Acceptance in the Community? Business Contacts? To appease a spouse or parent? To gain political status? And on and on?
If they DID NOT SUBMIT "from the thoughts in their HEART"...Have they FOOLED GOD? No. Were they SAVED? No.
To me scripture supports CONDITIONAL eternal security...
Sure, I agree. And would say the CONDITION is that a mans Confession of Belief, COME FROM HIS HEARTS TRUE THOUGHTS...
NOT HIS MIND.
But some verses do seem to tend toward UNCONDITIONAL security.
Sure.
So how can we be sure which it is?
It is BOTH. All scripture is True.
What is DIFFERENT, are "INDIVIDUAL" people....what individuals CHOOSE, and DO.
There IS A CONDITION...that men MUST Believe, and Confess their TRUE Heartfelt Belief.
Once THAT ^ is accomplished, there ARE NO MORE CONDITIONS 'FOR THAT MAN TO accomplish".
It called Dividing the WORD of TRUTH.
Everything written IN Scripture "IS TRUE"...
But NOT Everything IN Scripture "APPLIES" to every single man.
If a man DOES NOT BELIEVE.....then Scriptures about an Unbeliever APPLIES to that man.
If a man DOES BELIEVE....then Scripture about a Believer APPLIES to that man.
If a man calls out to the Lord, and "Mindfully" confesses Belief, but he does NOT Believe in his Heart...that man has LIED to God.
While Observers MAY Believe the man BECAME SAVED....did he?
Do we find men, preachers living 5, 10, 20, years APPEARING as Believers.....FOOLING people......THEN announcing...THEY NEVER really Believed? Sure. Were they SAVED? No. They are Frauds.
Again,
the Carnal Mind is Against God.
God searches the thoughts of the heart.
God is NOT Fooled.
And once a man Heartfully Confesses true Belief...the Lord SAVES the man...ONCE...
Not over and over and over.
Glory to God,
Taken
