And this is all based on YOUR flawed interpretation of Rev. 18:4 and your rejection of His Church.

Actually, it is based upon the two candidates of the "Harlot Church" ... allow me to refresh the memory of the "School-er"

The candidates were YOUR Harlot Church on seven hills and upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And, at that point you declared the Mother Harlots was Jerusalem.

One has a glorious future, and the other has a candle out and comes to destruction with God remembering her iniquities..... is all this coming back to you now?

Sooooo, I ask again, God says to "Come out of her" and what do you suppose will happen if you continue to remain and abide in her?

I’m sure He has made note of your rebellion.
Good luck with that . . .

I have nothing to hide. I have Obeyed his instruction...

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

God Bless!

It is directly connected to easy believism.

The masses of Christians these days are claiming salvation is not found in Acts, but in the Epistles.

These are professional Acts skippers.
Why not both? Salvation is found in the Person of Jesus Christ crucified and risen for our sins who is found in the Gospels, Acts, the Epistles and Revelation...not in baptism. Acts 2:38 is stating 'on account of (FOR) the forgiveness of sins', not in order to obtain forgiveness.

And once again, you have erroneously translated the “Harlot” of Revelation as the Catholic Church – when it is Jerusalem who is referred to as “The Harlot” in Scripture (Isaiah 1:21), who kills the prophets (Matt. 23:37). Jerusalem also sits on 7 hills – the Vatican isn’t one of the 7 Hills of Rome.

By contrast, the Harlot of Revelation is “drunk on the blood of the saints” (prophets and Early Church), and sits on 7 hills. Apostate Jerusalem killed the Prophets and cooperated with pagan Rome in persecuting the Early Church.

A little advice: Stop quoting Scripture until you understand what it is saying . . .

Which do you suppose is which?

Oh and BTW, Rome is known to be built upon seven hills. Rome was said to have been founded when Romulus and Remus, twin sons of Mars, ended up at the foot of the hill Palatine and founded the city. The other six hills are Capitoline (the seat of government), Quirinal, Viminal, Esquiline, Caelian, and Aventine.

God Bless!

And yet Vatican Hill isn't one of them

Jerusalem ALSO has Seven Hills:
Mount Scopus
Mount Olivet
Mount of Corruption
Mount Ophel
The original Mount Zion
The New Mount Zion
The hill on which the Antonia Fortress was built

Do your homework . . .

It was not recorded for us to ignore and try another way.

Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ FOR THE remission of sins....

Super easy to understand, even in the secular world.

Those aren't Biblical terms.
It's like asking me, "What is meant by 'taxation without representation'?"

It's a moot point, Einstein . . .
I knew you could not define what a burial with Christ is.

The RCC thinks burial with Christ is sprinkled with Christ.

Too bad Christ was not sprinkled, huh?

No, we've already established that there were springs and wells that fed the city, Einstein
Why is that so difficult for you to understand?
They bathed in wells?

Was there a lower/lift system for the 500,000 inhabitants of Jerusalem?

Please elaborate on this ancient amazing RCC find

The ignorance I see here...

The Romans were famous for having aqueducts to transfer water from it's sources to where they needed it.

Then 1 Timothy 2:5 is untrue...for it says that there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Believers through baptism are graced to become partakers of Christ’s divine nature (2Peter 1:4); Paul says in Gal 2:20, “… it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me”.
Due to this supernatural bond with Christ and His divine nature, believers are blessed to some degree with some of Christ’s powers - some more so than others, evidenced by such powers as prophesy, the performing of miracles, the casting out of demons and the forgiveness of sins (John 20:21-23).
In a similar way, Christians are blessed with a subordinate share in Christ’s role as mediator. This is especially so in the case of the Church’s priests - who act as mediators between the faithful and the man, Christ Jesus.

Eph 1:22-23 says “the Church … is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all”, so the Church is Christ in this world. Thus the Church acts as a mediator between the man, Christ Jesus and the rest of humanity.

Here are some other points worth considering:
- On Mt. Sinai, Moses acted as a mediator between Yahweh and the Israelites.
- Under Mosaic Law, the sins of the people were atoned for by sacrifices made through a temple priest … so the priests acted as a go-between - or mediator - between God and His people.
- In 1Tim 2:5, Paul commands “supplications, prayers and INTERCESSIONS … to be made for all men”. The word “intercession” is a synonym for “mediation”, so in effect, Paul is commanding all Christians to be mediators.
- The word “apostle” means a “delegate, messenger, one sent forth with orders” - which is essentially what a “mediator” is.
1 John 1:9 says that we can confess our sins to the Lord and will be forgiven.
No it doesn’t. 1John 1:9 doesn’t say “If we confess our sins to the Lord” - it simply says “If we confess ours sins”.

James 5:15-16 says, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another” - “to one another” actually means to “the elders of the Church” (v.15) ... “and he will be forgiven”. James is telling us that our sins will be forgiven by confessing them to the "elders" of the Church. But how can that be? The answer lies in John 20:21-23
"Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.’ And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, 'Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained'".
It means that the blood of Jesus is all you need
Scripture says the shed blood of Christ redeemed all of mankind, so does that mean all mankind will be saved?

If the shed blood of Christ is “all you need”, why does Paul warn believers in Gal 5:19-21 that their sins can result in them not inheriting the kingdom of God?

I was once a Catholic.
I just changed mediators.
I skipped the "sub-mediator" and went straight to the ONE mediator.
Is that a problem?
It's not a problem for me, but it might be for you.
It is the will of God that we worship and approach Him through His Church (called the Roman Catholic Church). You have rejected and left God's Church, holding it in contempt, so you are a heretic. Therefore you run the risk of Jesus saying to you on Judgement Day, "I never knew you" (Matt 7:21-23).

Don't say no one warned you.

No it doesn’t. 1John 1:9 doesn’t say “If we confess our sins to the Lord” - it simply says “If we confess ours sins”.

It doesn't say, "If we confess our sins to a priest" either.

James 5:15-16 says, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another” - “to one another” actually means to “the elders of the Church” (v.15) ...

No, it doesn't...it means anyone in the church.

And it also doesn't limit our confession of sins to one another. In the kjv it says, "Confess your faults one to another" and therefore the confession to one another is so that we may be healed of our faults, in context.

If you simply want to be forgiven, 1 John 1:9 does not exclude the Lord as being the One that you can confess your sins to.

If the shed blood of Christ is “all you need”, why does Paul warn believers in Gal 5:19-21 that their sins can result in them not inheriting the kingdom of God?

The blood of Jesus sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29) so that those who are cleansed by it (1 John 1:7) will not be committing those sins (see also 1 John 3:9).

That is absolutely ridiculous.

If I know someone really well but have never met his wife, he is not going to say to me that he doesn't know me.

And this is assuming that the *Catholic Church* is the bride of Christ.

What you don't understand is that all those who believe in Jesus are counted as the bride.

To say that you have to be in the Catholic Church in order to be saved diminishes Catholicism to cult-like status, in my book.

And I do not even say that you have to be a part of Mustard Seed Fellowship to be saved.

I do believe that I am going to restore essential doctrine to the church, however.

Judging by what I've heard from you so far, I'd say your quest of restoration is going in the wrong direction. Besides, the Catholic Church has been teaching correct doctrine for thousands of years - your input isn't needed at this stage.

I'm not talking about the Catholic Church...which I now deem to be a cult.

The Catholic Church has been wrong on indulgences and its hyper-exaltation of Mary, among other things.

You can harden your heart to what I am preaching...it doesn't mean that others also will do the same.

No, there is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.

Why did you reject Jesus Christ as your one and only mediator and replace him with the RCC?

If, in being baptized in Jesus' Name, one is identifying with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, then they are coming to Him in the right way.
