“John was not likely trying to give us a vision of a literal place,” agree but a spiritual place in “I was in the spirit”. Not saying it is right (imo) even the above is not “literally” above as if pointing up in the sky and saying there is heaven. Yes, that heaven declares His handiwork literally but what does it declare if not a heavenly body as well which out from that body: the heavenly body declare His handiwork. It goes back to My ways are Higher and My thoughts are higher and then Johns saying he heard “come up here”.

John 3:12-13 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? [13] And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? Natural man does not receive the spiritual things of God for they are foolish to him. Some times I wonder if you put a period at the end of some things and it confuses me. Is there a period after. “You can not come”? Because, be born of the Spirit (be converted Peter and then strengthen your brethren), walk in My ways and My thoughts and you will follow after Me that where I am, you will be also. Also consider “to ascend”. When He said His ways are higher and His thoughts are higher than our own. Question “to ascend” is there any “ascending” in His ways are higher and His thoughts higher? Consider wisdom which God contrast the earthly wisdom James 3:14-16 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. [15] This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. [16] For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
^from beneath, our ways which are lower and our thoughts which are lower leading to death, even called the way to death. The passage they have all gone out of the way full and pregnant with cursing and conceive poison.

Then that which descends from above yet could maybe also say “ascends” His ways and His thoughts being higher than our own and His the way which leads to LIFE. Really want your input. Not saying it is right but for now ascending could be said to “come up higher” to His thoughts and His ways as “walk in the Spirit” is walking in His way which is Life More abundantly and not, death and cursing. Also consider as we have borne the image of Adam, we shall also bear the image of Christ. pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

I was so cross to see David Taylor say that he has reported you...that I hit the report button also. I told the Admins that you were speaking for many of us who have tried and tried to get David Taylor to change the way that he speak to people in posts.

That’s what I like about the forum, I believe most here come to express what they’ve received of God, not to be told what they believe. You are most likely accustomed to being viewed as an authority over what ever religious sect you claim to hold the truths of.
