I didn't bother to read it. I saw "Zero Hedge" and moved on. I'm not interested in reading biased materials, invented by Zero Hedge or passed on by them. I don't watch CNN, by the way. I don't have cable; and even when I did, I didn't watch them. Too many "talking heads" with too many opinions.
I almost never watch CNN. It usually strikes me as little more than staged political theater rather than actual news.

Ha, and you can make money at it, too!
What's the saying? You'll never go broke appealing to the lowest denominator?

Roger Stone showed up on Coast to Coast the other night. I didn't listen to it all; but how droll to have him pushing his story on a show that discusses seems to specialize in conspiracy theories and the paranomal.
Seems like an appropriate venue for Stone.

There you go. You did not bother to read it because you prefer the fake scenarios of the Left Liberals, no matter how damaging they are to Trump and America. Have you also joined Bil Gates and the Leftist media in praising China and trashing Trump?

Here is what is happening through the Democrats and their lapdogs.

View attachment 9320
Stop acting like a wacko, Enoch. I check out Drudge Report every day. I often check out Breitbart too since I find stories there that may lean to the right but still inform me about things I wouldn't find somewhere else. I check out RT a lot too, to see what stories Russian propagana is pushing. And I check out Google news. I also check the amusing site "fark" which has a wide variety of stories from all political angles. Some days I check out the BBC, the South China Post, and Al Jazeera.

As for being damaging to Trump? He's his own worst enemy. He was right to say trade with China was unfair; but he seems unable to come to grips with what needs to be done. His propaganda war against China, backed up by other Republicans now, is making things worse; and I fear China is going to wait until October to do something drastic, something calculated to cut Trump down so he won't be re-elected. That would be okay with me if it was just Trump getting hurt; but I think it could affect farmers and American companies, thus hurting all America.

I suspect China or Russia is behind the current attacks on Fauci. Someone wants to drive a wedge between Trump and Fauci. The goal is to get Trump to fire Fauci, so the propagandists (Chinese or Russian, maybe Iranian) can paint Trump as a clown who doesn't understand science. Then if coronavirus breaks out again, the propagandists can attack Trump again, saying if he'd kept Fauci, it wouldn't have happened.

I also see the attacks on Bill Gates as probably coming from China or Russia.

I think it's highly possible too that Chinese or Russian agents are infilitrating American social media, trying to get protesters angry. I think China would love it if protesters carrying Trump signs and guns started shooting it out with the police in states with Democrat governors. And Trump seems to enjoy it, talking about "revolution."

China has studied who voted for Trump where. Earlier they slapped tariffs on products that came from areas where Trump got lots of votes. They cut back their purchases of soybeans, figuring it would hurt Trump if farmers couldn't sell their soybeans. No, I am not pro-China. I think they are already interfering in the election and will keep on doing it. They may not care who wins -- their real goal may be to sow division in America and possibly create enough tension that violence breaks out.

I am not going to be manipulated by people who try to get me to hate my fellow Americans.

I was surprised at first and then chided myself for being surprised. Yes, it was an appropriate place for him to show up.

To me, it's like idle chatter in a bar or something -- mostly opinions the way "Fox News" has so many opinion shows. When I had cable, I would watch CNN Headline news since it really was news.

Well this is both disgusting and laughable (for their incompetence)...

She Said Anthony Fauci Sexually Assaulted Her. Now She Says Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman Paid Her to Lie.

The gist of the story is that these two conservative....I dunno what you call them....operatives, activists, idiots....paid a woman to make up accusations of sexual assault against Dr. Fauci. They even had a conference call with reporters, but as it quickly became apparent that the whole thing was a hoax, the reporters figured they'd just let it die and not give it any attention. That all changed when the woman the conservative hoaxers paid to lie turned on the hoaxers, recorded them saying some truly awful things, and then sent the tape to one of the reporters.

During the nine-minute, 35-second call, Wohl and Burkman do not cover themselves in glory. They hector Andrade when she says she's feeling paranoid and wants reassurance that everything's fine.

"What could be wrong, Diana?" Wohl asks. "You did a good job, you got paid. What's the problem? What seems to be the issue? You're freaking out. You're texting me late at night. What's the issue?"

"What's the problem? What's your problem?" echoes Burkman. "Tell me what the problem is? What's your problem?"

She says she's uncomfortable with the money they gave her, some guy showing up, claiming to be a lawyer, with his face hidden by a cap.

"Is he even a real lawyer?" she asks. "I looked him up."

"Yeah, he's a real lawyer," Wohl says. "He's a good lawyer," and then goes on to brag about that lawyer's White House connections....

...
She proposes she give back the cash and instead receive a wire transfer (thus creating a trace), a proposition Burkman shoots down. ("Cash is best," he tells her. "We don't want any records of this nonsense.") She wants the men to admit they are trying to bring down a person who in no part deserves it.

"Let me tell you something, Diana," says Burkman. "This guy shut the country down. He put 40 million people out of work. In a situation like that, you have to make up whatever you have to make up to stop that train and that's the way life works, OK? That's the way it goes."

Andrade counters that he and Wohl are not taking COVID-19 seriously. "It's not just any virus. I mean, it's a huge deal….I think you guys think it's something made up, and it's not."

"Mother Nature has to clean the barn every so often," Burkman counters. "How real is it? Who knows? So what if 1 percent of the population goes? So what if you lose 400,000 people? Two hundred thousand were elderly, the other 200,000 are the bottom of society. You got to clean out the barn. If it's real, it's a positive thing, for God's sake."
Did you know the Gateway Pundit hired Kohl for a while? His antics were much even for them; and he got fired after they discovered his crackpot plot about Robert Meuller.

You seem to be somewhat like me, in that you get your news from multiple sources. Interestingly, I saw a survey a while back that showed liberals tend to rely on multiple news sources (even some conservative outlets), whereas conservatives tended to only rely on one or two. To me, that fits with other data that shows liberals tend to be more open to new information than conservatives.

Yep, and more than likely he'll try this again. Kinda like that O'Keefe guy at Project Veritas.

And yet another example of how the Trump administration not only botched the early response to COVID, but also retaliated against people who tried to get them to do the right thing...

In the early days of the pandemic, the U.S. government turned down an offer to manufacture millions of N95 masks in America

The article tells the story of how in late January, a Texas medical supply company started receiving orders for N95 masks from foreign countries. The owner of the company contacted the Trump administration and told them he'd prefer to meet the needs in the US first. But when Trump officials showed no interest, he wrote them...

“We are the last major domestic mask company,” he wrote on Jan. 23. “My phones are ringing now, so I don’t ‘need’ government business. I’m just letting you know that I can help you preserve our infrastructure if things ever get really bad. I’m a patriot first, businessman second.”

The Trump administration never did take him up on his offer. When Rick Bright, former director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, tried to persuade Trump officials to work with the company to increase production of masks, he was rebuffed and eventually reassigned to a different post.

This is yet another example of the Trump administration missing an the opportunity to curb the spread of the virus in the early days of the outbreak, just as they did when they failed to ramp up testing.

Here is a conversation between a doctor and scientist that all the mainstream and politicians are avoiding
Its about the inevitable increase in cases when things reopen
It talks about natural herd immunity and vaccine herd immunity

I saw headlines and blog posts about this, but I didn't believe Trump actually said this until I saw it on video.

Quote of the day: Maybe testing isn't so great after all

"Katie, she tested very good for a long period of time and then all of the sudden today she tested positive... This is why the whole concept of tests aren’t necessarily great. The tests are perfect, but something can happen between the test where it’s good and then something happens and all of a sudden— She was tested very recently and tested negative and today I guess for some reason she tested positive."

"For some reason she tested positive"? This is why I really have trouble listening to Trump speak. The man's a moron. No wonder his own staff have been reported saying as much.

What everyone should understand is that Trump was played by China, WHO, CDC, NIH, IHME, the Imperial College, Fauci, and Birx. However, Fauci and Birx should have been fired by now, and there was no call for Trump to assert that the Task Force would continue "indefinitely".

Here is the latest on the PANDEMIC CONSPIRACY (with expected denials by the conspirators):

German Intel Service Says Tedros and Xi Worked Together To Hide Outbreak for Weeks: Report

A new report claims that in January, China asked the World Health Organization to cover up emerging details about the spread of the coronavirus.

The allegation was contained in the German publication Der Spiegel, according to The Daily Caller. The Daily Caller said the German language report said Chinese President Xi Jingping personally contacted WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to cover up details about the outbreak in Wuhan, and cited information that Der Spiegel said was supplied by the German intelligence agency BND.

Xi asked the controversial Tedros not to announce that human-to-human spread of the virus was taking place, the report said, according to The Daily Caller.
Xi also asked Tedros to stall declaration of a pandemic, the Taiwan News reported. The report said the German intelligence agency said that the delay in announcing the full extent of the spread of the virus led the world to waste four to six weeks it could have used to prepare for the onslaught.

The WHO issued a statement on Saturday denying the report.

“Der Spiegel reports of a 21 January, 2020, telephone conversation between WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and President Xi Jingping of China are unfounded and untrue,” the statement said. “Dr Tedros and President Xi did not speak on 21 January and they have never spoken by telephone,” the statement said. “Such inaccurate reports distract and detract from WHO’s and the world’s efforts to end the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The statement said that “China confirmed human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus on 20 January.”
On Jan. 20, ABC reported the WHO as saying there was “limited human-to-human transmission” of the virus. “This is in line with experience with other respiratory illnesses and in particular with other coronavirus outbreaks,” the WHO said then, according to ABC, noting that at the time the extent of human-to-human transmission was uncertain.

The WHO did not declare the coronavirus a global emergency until Jan. 30, according to The New York Times.

President Donald Trump froze U.S. funding for the WHO on the grounds it failed in its mission to protect the world.
“The World Health Organization has been a disaster,” Trump told Fox News last week. “Everything they’ve said was wrong. And they’re China-centric. They agree with China, whatever China wants to do. So our country, perhaps foolishly in retrospect, has been paying $450 million a year to the World Health Organization. And China’s been paying $38 million a year,” he said, later adding that the WHO “missed every single call.”

A Department of Homeland Security report has said that China’s leadership “intentionally concealed the severity” of the disease in early January, according to The Associated Press.
The DHS report said China withheld information from the WHO while it was stocking up on medical supplies.

Multiple Priests Come Down With Corona in Houston Church That Reopened Recently

Five out of seven members Redemptorists community living and working at Holy Ghost Parish have tested positive for the coronavirus (one died recently from pneumonia).

The church, which reopened on May 2, has canceled all services until further notice, admitting that two now-infected priests

“…had been active in celebrating public Masses at Holy Ghost.”

On May 3 and May 10, both Sundays, there were in excess of 180 people inside the 900-capacity church.

“If anyone has attended Masses in person at Holy Ghost Church since the reopening, we strongly encourage you to monitor your health for any symptoms and be tested for COVID-19, as a precautionary measure.”

The padres added that they would gladly take care of all medical costs, from testing to any necessary post-hospital treatments.

Ha. I kid. They told their congregants to seek out free COVID testing, at taxpayers’ expense.

“There are a number of free COVID-19 testing sites in our community. For a list of testing sites, please call the City of Houston Health Department … or visit www.houstonemergency.org/covid19-testing.”

Do you think the Catholic Church will reimburse parishioners for COVID-related hospital bills that can easily run into six figures per person? If so, your faith is bigger than mine.

86% of choir members got infected with COVID-19 after church practice: report

The report from the health department showed how the 122-member chorale was likely exposed to a “superemitter” of the virus who attended choir practice on March 3 and March 10.

“One person at the March 10 practice had cold-like symptoms beginning March 7. This person, who had also attended the March 3 practice, had a positive laboratory result for SARS-CoV-2 by reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing,” the report said.

Of the 78 members who attended the March 3 practice, 51 or 65.4% of them got infected with the virus. All but one of the infected individuals from the March 3 practice were among the 60 members who also attended the March 10 practice, 86.7% of them tested positive for the disease. Among the 21 members who only attended the March 3 practice only one of them became ill.

“The 2.5-hour singing practice provided several opportunities for droplet and fomite transmission, including members sitting close to one another, sharing snacks, and stacking chairs at the end of the practice. The act of singing, itself, might have contributed to transmission through emission of aerosols, which is affected by loudness of vocalization,” the report said.

High COVID-19 Attack Rate Among Attendees at Events at a Church ...

Among 92 attendees at a rural Arkansas church during March 6–11, 35 (38%) developed laboratory-confirmed COVID-19, and three persons died. Highest attack rates were in persons aged 19–64 years (59%) and ≥65 years (50%). An additional 26 cases linked to the church occurred in the community, including one death.
