Please don't conflate obedience with a "since we can never be good enough" attitude. If you love Jesus, you will be obedient.

please do not insult me by twisting my words. I never stated we will not be obedient, in fact scripture teachers otherwise, As joh said whoever sins has never seen god whoever is born of god can not live in sin.

I am against the thought that obedience has any part in ones eternal life.

Hey its on you, but you show a lack of understanding in this matter. Gods covenant with Israel was National and Physical, nothing to do with Salvation through Christ.

Hebrews 10
[26] For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
[27] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
[28] He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
[29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
[30] For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
[31] It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Yes, obedience is a requirement.

Romans 6
[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
[2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

I am against the thought that obedience has any part in ones eternal life.

That is a paradox.

So we can not earn it to get it, but to keep it we must earn it

is this not a backdoor entrance into works salvation?

ie, God gives us a down payment, then tells us we must earn it or he will take it back,

Not a back door to “works salvation”, but a clear entrance into sound doctrine.

Again, God demands obedience to his word once you become enlightened to his word. It’s up to us render our members as instruments of righteousness and mortify our members which are upon the earth.

No, you just have to:

Colossians 3:5-7 KJV
[5] Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: [6] For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: [7] In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

So we should choose to be children of obedience, not children of disobedience.

He gives it to all

acts 5 does not negate what John 3 and other passages say.

as Jesus said it will go first to Israel, then Samaria, then the ends of the earth (to us)
No Israel is Gods Elect all over, it includes some Gentiles also, He gives some of them repentance as the Israel of God Acts 11:18
When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

So repentance is given by God to His Chosen People Israel, whether jew or gentile.

Ok, I have no problem with that scripture passage. It doesnt change that Ezk 33 is speaking to Old Covenant National Israel and has nothing to do with Salvation through Christ via the New Covenant.

Nope

obedience is a given not a requirement

Once again, you need to listen to John

1 John 3:
Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

a child of God can not practice sin, because they have been born of God,

so it can not be a requirement.

if it is a requirement we are under law not grace

If I have to, then I am under law not grace

I better be perfect. Because the first sin I commit I have forfeited my salvation and there is no hope

You are correct: a child of God does not willfully sin. When temptation comes knocking, sin is resisted and overcome by the love of God abiding in the child of God.

Matthew 5:48 KJV
[48] Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

God’s word is a lamp unto our feet and light unto our path.

Man’s words are the opposite of these.

Amen to that scripture, EG!

But lest we get highminded we are reminded to follow after righteousness as well. You cannot corner God into a worldly tradition.

being Perfect in humanity, is not without errors. Job was a perfect man, Job 1:1 "There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil."

Noah was another perfect man, but got drunk. Genesis 6:9 "These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."

its what you're doing majority of your life, are you practicing rightiousness, not to maintain it, but practice make perfect.

just as long as you're NOT practicing sin.

Remember, Don't argue with 101G, argue with the scriptures, God Holy Word.

dealing with sin. 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

thank God for the NEW CONTRACT.
