Good News!

The kingdom is available Now for anyone who puts their trust in Jesus.

That means you do not have to wait until you die.

Osas thinking leaves out sanctification...because many believe Justification is all of Salvation....

It's like saying you can be a Christian without being a disciple.
There are 3 tenses to salvation. 1. We have been saved from the PENALTY of sin (justification) 2. We are being saved from the POWER of sin (ongoing sanctification) 3. We will be saved from the PRESENCE of sin (glorification)

How does that leave out sanctification? NOSAS thinking has been known to lead to "type 2 works salvation" -- initially saved by faith (justification) then keep yourself saved based on your performance/works (sanctification) yet from beginning "have been saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8) to end "receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls" (1 Peter 1:9) salvation is through faith and is not by works.

Known? By OSASers no doubt.

Yes! Yes! >>>Put your trust in Jesus not something He did to secure your salvation.
because the security comes in Christ after receiving His Spirit and walking by it.

The cart has came before the Horse and therefore the confusion. Because nothing moves[changes] in the life and character of people. For

the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, .....Titus 2

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

1 John 3:8

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

So does the first passage say that the grace of God appeared so we could have heaven when we die?.......No!

You know why because the kingdom is available now to enter.

And even though that is apart of it...its not a concern if you have life now......

Works like “Lucky Repentance” and the absolute avoidance of ” Willful Sins “ in your life....
The latter is “ true” because the Blood Of Jesus is too weak to cover them.Dont believe that lie—— it is Utter Hogwash.....
Get the argument right. It's willfully going back to your sins IN UNBELIEF that the blood of Christ does not cover. ↓↓↓

Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.
If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume all adversaries. Hebrews 10:23, Hebrews 10:27
You are to hold onto the hope you profess. If you don't, and you go back to unbelief and the sin of your old life you no longer have Christ's faithful ministry to cover you (no further sacrifice for sins remains) and all you have to look forward to is the damnation of the enemies of God. It says it right there, BB. Read it. Stop listening to false teachers who can't see the plain words of scripture.

put an end to needless worry and confusion in regard to these “ scary” verses that Legalist, Tares and Religionists use to try to keep you in Bondage .
Exhorting the church to keep believing and not go back to their old life of sin in unbelief does not make one a legalist, lol.

It's one thing to be in the kingdom and another to be of the kingdom.

The Kingdom of God, is LIGHT.
This is to be understood as RIGHTEOUSNESS, as this is God's Nature.
Truth, Love, Holiness, Power,. all of this is just definitions, words, that try to illuminate God's essence.

So, by being born again, we are OF the KOG, because we are in it.
The KOG is actually IN the born again, and we are also in it.

Now, may I ask, what do you understand what Paul said in the next verse, as follows “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works”.? What truth in there strikes you the most?
We were created in Christ to serve a purpose.

He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. Titus 2:14
First truth, we were created in Christ Jesus. That sure tells a lot about the (true) Christians. They aren’t the man they once were.

Second truth, we were created for good works. That sure tells us why the (true) Christians do good works. And that sure makes us understand what good works are. That they aren’t what saves, but are what the saved were created anew to do.

I think it is now very clear. Salvation is not through works.

Being saved from the PRESENCE of sin (which involves growing in grace/maturing in Christ - working "out" our salvation and not working for our salvation - Philippians 2:12-13) involves our participation, yet it is still God who works in us to will and to do for His good pleasure.

To take part is to walk in the light....in which[in no offense] one with osas teachingd can not come to see because they view Justification as all there is to salvation.

Jesus preached the Gospel of the Kingdom that is it's availability now to enter. We are to put our trust in Him.....

Not something He did to secure heaven when you die....

So you don't have to wait until you die to experience the benifits. The security comes when you walk in the light.

All.

<<<Jesus is not a rapist, forcing himself on others against their will.>>>

Didn’t say he is. So why do you bring that issue up?

<<<People have to act, to voluntarily go to him, not just once and done but in an ongoing basis. >>>

How do you suppose a dead man can do that? The unregenerate is in a state of death, rendered dead to the things pertaining to God and the things of the Spirit of God.

Circular Reasoning. People turn to God and then are sealed with the Holy Spirit.

Given your theology is the other way around, that people have God in them & selected them from the start, what purpose does the Great Commission serve?

So you are saying in effect that he was by his confession? That otherwise he won’t be saved? Well,...good for the thief that he was not mute.
I am aware that's the only way that you are able to understand that.
And it seems you only have that for an answer.

What is it in what Paul revealed that we are saved by grace through faith that is hard to understand?

All the born again take part in God's Salvation.
But not all take part in the mind of Christ.
We are told to "renew our mind", and that means to come into perfect understanding of one thing.
Its this...
God has a perspective of us, that is......we the born again are as righteous as He is, always.
That is how God SEES US.....
And when bring our mind into alignment with THAT Perspective, then we are "mind renewed", when we believe this and rest in this Grace of God.

Salvation = God's Blood.

Today’s devotional reading brought me to verses that destroy OSAS. 1 Samuel 10 explains how the Spirit of the LORD not only came to be with Saul, it possessed Saul.

I believe this is the only instance of Divine Possession in Scripture. Yet, Saul turned from God and lost the blessings of God.

Get the argument right. It's willfully going back to your sins IN UNBELIEF that the blood of Christ does not cover.

You are teaching the typical Cross rejection heresy that all devout Legalists rely on to try to keep convincing themselves that the Blood of Jesus does not pay for ALL sin.
See, all heretics, deny that the Blood of Jesus is a ETERNAL redemption of ALL sin.
All heretics teach that the blood of Jesus, is only as good as you are, ...is only as good as you remembering to confess your sin.

All heretics read Romans 4:8 that says that God does not charge your sin to you ever again, if you are born again, and they stare at this verse in horror as it exposes them as devil led liars, who try to ruin the faith of real believers as their only reason to be on a "christian" forum.

Believers -- by definition -- will keep on believing. So what's your problem?
No, that is not the definition of 'believer'.
It sure is. That is what I have been repeatedly and consistently pointing out to you in our past exchanges.

There were people in the earthly days of Jesus that believed Him. Don’t you remember what Jesus told them concerning their believing Him? He told them “if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed”.

Hi, The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and Joy in the HolyGhost.

"IN......the holy Ghost".

"IN It".

Where is that?

The Holy Ghost, is God.
God is "A" Spirit. .. John 4:24. THE Holy Spirit = Holy Ghost.

We the born again, are NEW CREATIONS ...."in Christ"...

"IN">......again.

Christ is God.
God is A Spirit.
The Holy Spirit.
The born again are BIRTHED INTO< God's Holy Spirit, BY= God's Holy Spirit.

We then exist as "ONE with God, and Christ".= Spiritually, which is the real us.

******A warning to guests and new Christians******
The people that are pushing the OSAS doctrine on this thread are not inline with Christian morals, ethics, or values.
It is a false teaching that can lead to loss of salvation and a judgment to hell. Danger is here in this thread. BEWARE!
