Yup, the heart is moved by God when a person starts to seek Him in faith. But He requires MORE from us than the faith in our heart. It takes baptism and repentance (Acts 2:38, 2 Peter 3:9, Mark 16:16) and works (Romans 2:6, James 2:24).

I suspect if you had any passages from Scripture to back up what you said you would have referenced them. You didn't so you don't.

Keeping it real with Scripture.....Mary
Okay. He desires us as his children to walk and mature in Christ. God is simple pleased by faith, and not more faith. Its Jesus who makes people right with his Father. They are baptized in the holy spirit and fire through the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Then God works from within you if you allow him which the works done are for Gods will and desire over our own which he see as something good towards His pleasure which is always predicated by christ, or God within you which produces heavenly love, in faith, having relationship with the Father and fellowship, also with His Son.

Peace.

Jesus is the water of life. Baptism through the Holy Spirit is key.
Love this, Amen!

14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

The Cross proves that God does not accept water to save you.

In fact, if water and repentance from sin could save you, then Jesus didnt have to die on The Cross.

You could just let John the Baptist hold you under the water.

However, God had another Salvation Plan., and it has nothing to do with Water or Works or Law or Commandments.

Now a "water cult" will disagree, as you know @Marymog

Correct.

One man hanging next to Jesus, called out to Jesus IN FAITH….
Did Jesus say….Oh…hold on….Somebody baptize this man with WATER?
Uh…no.
John’s Water Baptism, even according to John’s own testimony, was a PRELUDE a FORESHADOW…to Jesus’ Spiritual Baptism.

God Bless you.

How would you water baptize the dying Thief on the Cross who just trusted in Christ and Jesus told Him.."today you will be with me in paradise"?

That it is; a myth

* Some crucified with Jesus…ARE Sanctified NOW.
* Some (IF they continue to believe until their bodily death), SHALL be sanctified.
* Some while alive in their flesh SHALL never Believe or Become Sanctified.

To PARTICULAR living men in Cornith…

1 Cor 1:
[2] Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

Mark 16:
[16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Why do you DOUBT Gods Word that SOME ARE Sanctified NOW and Forever?

Glory to God,
Taken

“And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” (1 Peter 4:18, KJV)

Your first excerpt sustains Eternal Salvation.

It says “SCARCELY be saved” with regards to the righteous. How on earth does this “sustains Eternal Salvation”???

Your second verse excerpt of one of Paul's Epistles to the church in Corinth, per your ideas, would, if in keeping with your theology, make Paul a liar in his Ephesians 2 epistle.

My ideas???

Can’t you read the scriptures fella?

You have an imaginary “Eternal Security” version of Paul that is unbiblical.

Paul also said:

“…because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.” (Romans 11:20-21, KJV)

The saved persons standing by faith are threatened that they could end up with the same fate as the UNBELIEVERS!

Echoing Jesus’ exact teaching here:

“But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.” (Luke 12:45-46, KJV)

It addresses ideas like those you defend. If OSAS isn't true, then those in Christ are scare sly thought to be saved by Jesus.
When you and others insist upon that being in the gospel, you can't then identify the ungodly and the sinner.

The Cross proves that God does not accept water to save you.....In fact, if water and repentance from sin could save you, then Jesus didnt have to die on The Cross.

Well, I could adhere to the false teaching that the men of your cult have taught you OR I could listen to Scripture:

Quote from the word of God: "baptism doth also now save us" AND “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Quote from Behold: "God does not accept water to save you"

Hmmmm.....which one should I believe? Tough decision here.........:IDK:

Keeping it real with Scripture instead of opinion....Mary

PS...the 2nd most concerning part of your post is that @Taken @Ritajanice @BlessedPeace "liked" your false teaching. :(

Scripture has been cited umpteen times…
No one is going to read it for you, study it for you or understand it for you.

The Lord God can NOT Lie.
Once He has blessed a man with Sanctification…it’s Done. Period.
Lol....OK.

You allege that Scripture has been cited umpteen times to back up your opinion but the post that I quoted YOUR POST contained almost 500 words, yet you did not have one passage from Scripture that backed up your opinion.

One would think that you would have at least a single passage from Scripture to back up a 500 word rambling opinion?????.....but you didn't....because you can't.

So when Scripture says…

Eph 5:
[23] For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Or
1 Tim 5:
[15] For some are already turned aside after Satan.

It is talking to you About you…?
Thanks for your input!
I don't understand your question or logic....No need to explain.

Thank you.

Work does not save us. Nor is it a condition applied to guarantee we are secure in our Salvation. The implication that it is so, contradicts scripture.
Lol...I LITERALLY gave the vs's from Scripture that shows we must have works AND NOT JUST FAITH to be saved and you gave your OPINION that the Scripture I gave contradicts Scripture:jest:

You then go on to reference Scripture that does not contradict the Scripture I gave.........

YES....grace is ONE of the things we need to be saved. Along with faith, baptism, works. Scripture says that we must do or need ALL of those things.

Why is that so hard to understand?

Quote from the word of God: "baptism doth also now save us

Water Baptism could only save you if water baptism is the virgin born Son of Mary, who went to the Cross to die for your sin.

Do you believe that Water Baptism is Jesus on the Cross who is the SAVIOR?

Do you believe that Water Baptism died on the Cross for your Sin? ?

When Jesus Said..... John 14:6 "I am the only WAY to the Father"......that He meant "water is the way"?

And one more @Marymog ...

You posted a part of the verse to try to teach "cult of mary" (water cult) lie.

Here is the verse...........

21: The like FIGURE = whereunto even baptism doth also now save us

Se that? That means "symbolically" = "FIGURE"..

Not LITERALLY.

John 14:26 that the Holy Spirit is a personal advocate who helps believers: “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” It is through the Holy Spirit that God sends his love personally to you, Romans 5:5 says: “God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

You are of your own opinion that matters none to me.

I trust what Gods SAYS…
Those who ARE Sanctified ARE Forever WITH God.

Acts 20:
[32] And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Heb 10:
[14] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

You preaching the Sanctified-ED can lose their Sanctification is rubbish.
God CAN NOT LIE!

Prayers for you that you stop wandering and giggling in delusional darkness.

Glory to God,

Why is that so hard to understand?

Because you simply like many others….
Say… works, works, works….BUT NEVER define what YOU mean by works….and leave it as …. GENERAL “works”….when SCRIPTURE IS VERY SPECIFIC!

Works to BE MADE SANCTIFIED…..
IS EXPRESSLY TWO WORKS….
HEARTFULLY BELIEVE and CONFESS “THAT” BELIEF.

WORKS…in the general sense…being kind to others, lending a helping hand, blah, blah…
ARE NOT WORKS that SAVE A MAN …
“Nor” KEEP his salvation secure.
