You just love to avoid the question don't you?(thesuperjag)
1. Sacrificing a lamb (animal) did atone us for our sins, (back in OT times) because God said it to shed a lamb's blood...A lamb without blemish, if they do not provide a lamb that is without blemish, (for sin offering) they have to provide two turtledoves or two young pigeons. (One for sin offering and one for burnt offering)2. Now since animal sacrifice is done away with, they are fulfilled in Christ. Christ became the Lamb that we now shed the blood of.3. There is no possible way to understand God with human reasoning and understanding. We can only understand God, through the Holy Spirit speaking to us and teach us truth.
- Your first answer, is answering whether or not God needs sacrifices or not.- Your second answer, Is just... not even close to what he's asking. He wants to know HOW in the Old Testament, not why we don't need animal sacrifices anymore...- Your third answer, Is like you realized what she is asking, then you just gave up and said God is too great and we can never understand.Want to know why God can ask for sacrifices for us to repent our sins? Because HE CAN... and it wouldn't be wrong of him, since he is the creator of all he has the right to do whatever he wants. When Cain and Able gave their offering, the lamb pleased him, but the fruits etc did not. So from then on people sacrificed living things that held some level of consciousness...(Wakka)
Also, if you peruse your Christianity, you come to realize that the only type of Christianity is the "hardcore" Christianity you see. Any other Christianity where you don't minister for Christ, and you don't dedicate your life to Christ, and do everything to glorify Christ is just carnal. And the "normal" Christianity won't get your into heaven. I would love to spent time and talk to you personally about this
I don't want to dedicate my life to Christ, because then it would no longer be mine. I would dead on the inside. I would just be a corpse walking around, evangelizing and praising the great lord. I mean, that doesn't sound like heaven to me. Actually by what I'm told of heaven by Christians, it actually sounds more like hell to me.Christianity has never given purpose to life. We praise the lord and convert people in this life, and praise the lord in the next. That doesn't make our life any more meaningful...1. God wanted us to sacrifice a blemish lamb in the OT.2. Oops, my bad, You are correct it was how, and I can't explain that, but we are told to do it...Let's read the bible shall we?3. Nice try to confuse me, but God blesses us with truth, who wants truth. You won't find God with a lowly human reasoning and understanding.II Corinthians 5:21 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.Jag

You are beyond help... Anything that you can't reason yourself, you just say you suck to much to understand... anything that you can, you try your hardest to.
Jeremiah 29:13 - And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.I reason with my brothers and sisters in Christ. In fact God told us so. Is that enough for you?Jag

The only one that leaves people vulnerable is Satan. But you are right, we can't see eye to eye, since we are in completely different direction. See ya.

1 Corinthians 6:20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.This life is meant to be the "working" life. In heaven should you only relax. And hey, it's for eternity

. I'm saying that it would be much better for your behalf to work for God.

That's just what you see on the outside. In fact, life is much much better in the presence of God. Your problem is that you've never experienced God outside of what other people tell you (that's my assumption from what you've told me already).

WOW..interesting stuff...Lets see if I can shed some "light"..The Trinity...i feel satan uses the mystery of the Trinity to stir confusion and chaos amongst Christians over something so simple, yet at the same time..complex. Confused? Good. The Trinity is God the Father, His son Jesus the Christ, and the Holy Spirit. God is spirit, Jesus was man & spirit, and the Holy Spirit is God's Spirit that dwells with us and in us. Yet all of theses are in fact the one same Spirit..God. Being Christian:Well, I can say I do understand your point of view of it all seeming meaningless. But before give you my point of view, I have 2 questions for you Astral:1) Do you have children or are you old enough to?2) What profession are you?
